Crossover Ethan Ralph vs. Nick Rekieta & Elijah Schaffer - Current status: Nick Rekieta exposed for having a more attractive wife, big L.

Proably has been discussed a 1000th times but the Vic stuff is so fucking shady.

Oh i didn' hire Beard, Vic hired Beard. I just gave the phone number. I didn't recomend him.
Like OK there Rackets, Beard is clearly a good friend to you. Both have similar nerdy interests and both come from Texas. Even if there isn't an ulterior motive its really fucking fishy.
But its the legal world so i guess its always this shady.
But he said that he did recommend him (and has pretty much always said the same).
I don't really understand why people think someone recommending someone they know for a position is shady. Who recommends people they don't know/have any sort of relationship with? Idk. There's better stuff to criticize imo.

It's really telling how Ralph will burn bridges and go to such extremes over the most mundane of prods at his expense, even toward someone as well natured and level headed as Rekeita just having a good time and trying to keep it tame and wasn't even that hot of a take like Nick said everyone farts on stream.

E-Clout is a helluva drug. Having two kids he can't be assed to make life changes for the betterment of them is winning and Nick laughing at him farting live on air is the biggest betrayal since Judas.

It's either that or we've been witnessing Wet Brain induced psychosis doing it's work on Ralph's life. Both his fault ofc

I know people here generally don't like Rackets, and I won't try to rehabilitate him. But I will say, he's been very respectful of Ralph, perhaps overly respectful. He helped out Ralph way more than he should have, just because he wanted to honor their "friendship." And I can't blame him for that. Adults don't just blow up and burn bridges at the first hint of hostility.

You deserve this Ralph, you ungrateful, thin-skinned guntlet.
It's not friendship. When the Killstream had high viewership Ralph directed traffic Nick's way and vice versa. They have common colleagues and guests like Dick Masterson. A friendly business relationship is in both of their best interests. Creating an unofficial network of streamers. Mutual grifts are preserved. Angering either of their devoted audiences, which has some crossover, would be detrimental.
Rackets is also lying his ass off again. The Ralph thread at the time was flying by with around 50-100 pages per day there's no way you could catch up on the context off several hundred pages in like 16 hours.
It's a streamer trick to draw out a show and conversation. Play dumb. Make the guest or viewer do the work and you can react and facilitate.

How is it that people have such a hard time to understand the difference between a referral and a recommendation. A recommendation implies a suggestion to do something, in this case to hire another lawyer. Laywers can't really do this because it may implicate ethical problems and potentially liability issues.
If a lawyer refers a collegue to a potential client, he says "here's an attorney I know, who maybe can help you with your situation. Talk to him."
And that's what Nick consistently said for over 2,5 years now. There's nothing fishy I can see here. I also can't remember Nick ever litteraly saying "I didn't recommend Ty to Vic".

And just as disclaimer: I don't give a fuck if like or don't like Nick, but this shit is stupid. If you search something to label Nick "fishy" there're probably a lot better skeletons in his closet.

Especially when it comes to supporting those kids worst case the baby mommy's take him to court for child support and I don't think streaming on no name stream platforms are going to pay those child support bills and his alcohol problem.

It just seemed his opinion was super weasely, which is par for the course when dealing with Rackets.

I was Gunt guarding but I really wasn't because x.....
I'm of two minds on this.

On the one hand, he's not wrong that if he entered into an attorney-client relationship with Ralph, there are limits imposed on what he can and can't say outside that relationship. That's just objective truth. I would certainly never advocate that a lawyer should torpedo their career just so they can shit on a fat redneck retard on the Internet.

On the other hand, I am left scratching my head why he would enter such a relationship with Ralph, and bind himself to such limitations, in the first place. Lawyers can usually pick their clients. Thus, they pick their battles. Ralph has had "loser" written all over him for quite a while now.

I think maybe there's a "teachable moment" here where Nick should consider offering referrals in cases like these instead of going in balls deep. I think it's cool how he acted as an agent for Hero Hei when Anime News Network falsely struck his video, but taking on most e-celebs as clientele is probably a lot like agreeing to represent a dumpster fire. Consider that we catalogue, by name, such dumpster fires on this very site.

Nick Rekieta has just formally disavowed Ethan Ralph.
:feels:

GD 3k viewers. Crazy how much money Rackets leaves on the table by streaming so late.
He once had over 9,000 viewers. It was the show where Rekieta first had Ty Beard on, in 2019. I believe, to date, that is still the high point for viewers.

They even reenacted that Dragonball Z scene in celebration.

Does anyone here know the average numbers between Gunt and Rekieta streams and the difference in numbers?
Could ralph have a good old case jealousy of Rekieta being able to still stream on YouTube unlike Ralph who jumps platform to platform on no name streams?
