Pulled a signed Mio and Shion card also shitload of CocosNo. You won't see your-favorite-hag's hands
@Diya I'll let you handle this, I await your reply. Why are some of you guys calling chuubas with roommates on older side hags?
"Hag" is an offensive term with negative connotations.
I think "cougar" or smth along those lines is what you peeps are thinking of.
Or I'm missing something.
I was under the impression "Hag" from a farmer is a term of endearment. Why are some of you guys calling chuubas with roommates on older side hags?

People are regularly called fags, faggot, or nigger on here as a term of endearment. Hag barely counts as offensive. The juxtaposition between the insult and the affection is fun.Why are some of you guys calling chuubas with roommates on older side hags?

Obviously, but I'm not sure that this is what's going on here. Double checking.People are regularly called fags, faggot, or nigger on here as a term of endearment. Hag barely counts as offensive. The juxtaposition between the insult and the affection is fun.
Kiara did a Holo-Talk with her, so I’m sure Sora would be down with a casual talk stream. Sora always seems like she wants to join in on a lot of the craziness that goes on with everyone. I remember she and Pekora had some good back and forth during their collab.I know it's old news that Sora gets put on a pedestal by most of her kouhais, but this clip of Subaru really shines a light on it. She's certainly exaggerating a bit here and there, but through it you can get a feel for the extent to which they seem to feel culturally obligated to elevate her, and it's still wild to me.
Basically Subaru wants to do a "casual talk" stream (sounds like that means no-honorifics, and "impolite" language in general, I guess?), but she's nervous about bringing Sora on. Please, Shuba, do the stream, bring in Sora, and put a dent in those barriers!
Also the background art in this clip is so cute like wtf
It's a joke/stereotype about how Japanese women struggle to get into relationships once they hit their late-20s. I'm speaking in generalizations, but it seems like Japanese men idealize getting married before turning 26, and as such, unmarried "mature" women are treated as undesirable. Western otaku thus jokingly use the term "hag" (to varying degrees of seriousness) when talking about older women. From my experience, it's mostly poking fun at the ridiculous standard Japanese society places on young people and how absurd it is to treat relatively young girls like they're old ladies just because they passed an arbitrary age. (If you hear the term "Christmas cake," it's in the same vein.)Why are some of you guys calling chuubas with roommates on older side hags?

This is what I'm looking for, but I wish for a bit more elaboration. I've never seen its use like that. Except here ofc.Western otaku thus jokingly use the term "hag"

"Cougar" is a loaded term filled with sexual imaginary and connotation. It implied that the person describe with such word acted or valued by some narrow and specific erotic sense.@Diya I'll let you handle this, I await your reply.
I love when I can trust others with things and to do them better than I could. Hag love brother!"Cougar" is a loaded term filled with sexual imaginary and connotation. It implied that the person describe with such word acted or valued by some narrow and specific erotic sense.
"Hag" is a term mostly use in offensive way to describe woman that is a bit of older than society standard of desirable age; the so called "Christmas Cake" mentality plaguing the Japanese archaic society. Many time people called these matured ladies with such word, as if to implied that maturity, stability, and sensibility aren't desirable traits one should look upon when seeking a mate. We here who love them doesn't see them with such narrow view. We love and respect their experience, their worldview, their sacrifice, and their kindness. We here choose to embrace such word, for what's more senseless than to correct insults coming from kids running around on internet lusting over those Menhera and borderline retard girls that will turn into a hag in a few years anyway if they're lucky? We choose to embrace the word, for we understand what's important, and that is to love and support those hags as they love and support others.
In reality it just sound funny and stick, an endearing mockery. The part about it's pointless to MATI and try to change how they're called is true tho.
I still find it funny how we assume Botan is in her 40s just because she happens to look mature for a nippon.Sometimes i wonder which of the Holy Hag Trifecta I think is the best.
Korone
Mio
Botan
The key component to why they are all fucking adorable , is their distinct laughs, Fuck yea.
It all depends on the day, I would die for them, and they don;t even know I exist.
there is no good answer to who i think is best.
