Here are some of my thoughts on the Ravioli sandwich saga. Assuming he didn't walk halfway across San Francisco to get his lunch after the MRI, the Ike's he ordered from was on 901 Polk Street, San Francisco. I've been over the vegan part of the Polk Street location's menu multiple times, and I can't find any kind of $16 anything. Even in the urban hellscape of techie San Fran, the most expensive (vegan) sandwich this place offers is a little below $13 in cost.
Given this information, I see three possible explanations, from most likely to least likely:
a) Rioley's full of shit and made up a "woe is me my food got snatched" story to regain those sweet Internet points he's lost by seething for days on end.
b) He got some kind of chips+sandwich+drink combo meal deal for his $16. He did this knowing full well that he if he did so, he wouldn't have enough money for anything other than "Gatorade and ramen" later that night. Assuming the meal actually did get stolen (lol), the guy got a grip on a bag much like this one. Nobody stopped the guy who stole the bag or said anything about it.

c) He actually did manage to spend $16 on the sandwich (somehow), but it was customized. He did this knowing full well that he if he did so, he wouldn't have enough money for anything other than "Gatorade and ramen" later that night. The guy who stole the sandwich (lol) tore a different bag directly out of Ravioli's hands as he went about his day, and nobody stopped him or said anything about it.
Additionally, Ravioli thinks he's too special for any of the less expensive items on the menu despite appearing to be poor as dirt.
Attention. He's just being a grifter faggot:

It should be noted that these last two options are distant runners-up to the much simpler solution that Rioley is full of shit, especially given that he specifically mentioned the
sandwich itself cost $16. I've been trying to square the Rioley tweet with the facts of the menu for a while now, and I'm not sure it can be done. Serves me right for attempting to logic out a tweet from someone too emotionally unstable to be let into the Korps, I suppose.
Here's the Polk location menu if someone else wants to take a crack at it.
