This screenshot specifically pisses me off because this is coming from someone who was whoring out one-off subs harder than any e-girl. Sure he doesn't do it as much anymore and also it's from 2019, but I genuinely have to be believe that it's because he just can't and/or doesn't have to rather than he learned his lesson about it. There's not enough new viewers coming into his streams to bait into subscribing and even if a new viewer comes in, one of his fat wallet boys will throw a tier 1 sub on them if they stay long enough without causing some problems.
But back in the early days of his partnership, it wasn't at least somewhat reasonable community incentives like "If I get this many subscribers, I'll play this game under these conditions" or something. It was more like being a subscriber to Chibi was playing the shittiest gacha game you ever heard of. "Subscribe today and my head mod will clone a copy of this rare shiny hacked pokemon for you" or "Subscribe to fight me in game" or countless, countless, COUNTLESS giveaways that ultimately aren't worth the $5 entry fee but no one else is subscribing so your chance of winning is basically 100%! Or whatever gimmick could reasonably milk the audience that never came out of his cost outside of, I think like the shaving stream was a subscription goal. Instead, everyone else had to pull the weight for him to deliver on his promises and deal with any backlash if it isn't followed through on while he goes and harasses other streamers to try to be friends with them so that they'll send their audience to him for more easy money because now they're dropping subs in the name of some bigger name streamer. Thankfully he commissioned a chat bot to do all the gimmicks for him because All The Cool Streams have Pseudo-Gambling spam bots that give Special Bonus Muffin for good bois who wear their Chibi Badge next to their name to redeem to for stupid shit before Twitch decided to just implement them in themselves. I think he ended up with 3 bots. MuffinBot, MizuBot, and NightBot for just normal NightBot shit and one of them was always fucking broken. If not one then the other.
But like the days of old, the modern Chibi's main concern would be subscriber retention. Because now, like then, he never had to put up any cost for any of it. His moderators or hardcores will give him all the one-time subs as they can. Why give the audience something to subscribe to when you can just have people subscribe FOR them in some vague attempt to socially pressure them into sticking around for a little while or some urge to have it so there's always a wall of subs? Maybe get them in the discord to show how much of a tight knit community we are lead by our virtuous and very unproblematic Community Leader (TM) before it gets locked down hard again because Chibi did or said something stupid again and it's damage control time again. And there goes the chance for the renewal coming through. But it's okay, Super Moderator (TM) JimmyTimmyPowerHour2004 or whoever will throw another one on some other poor soul who stumbles in because they're nostalgic about a game. Or just on a hate lurker. Who really cares, they're not going to renew it regardless. But really he's a fucking professional qualified to tell someone how to grow their audience and their bank account, because he's experienced in being a Trend Whore leech before he shot any chance at legitimate growth in the foot over and over and over until there's no more foot to shoot. He's in no way biased to his own failings.

Does he even know people at a karaoke bar will cheer on anyone, even if they absolutely suck ass because nobody wants to ruin the atmosphere? But maybe this boost of confidence will enter the next Chibi arc and instead of trying to become a voice actor he will go to one of those singing talent shows.

All jests aside I'm glad he's going out and trying to socialize and have fun. I felt the same way about OPL during that era where he hung out in his area's gay club, getting some fresh air outside of the horde. That was definitely one of the better places for a lolcow like him to try to socialize, so this is probably one of Chibi's better options too. But we all know how he takes to being mildly accepted in a niche community. If this becomes his new stomping grounds I can't wait to see how much he inevitably spergs out, probably gonna stream it like when he got his hair dyed

First of all, karaoke bars are already gay as hell and only frequented by annoying retards. Maybe the gay nightclub in Orlando had karaoke nights what caused that ISIS rat to shoot it up. Pulse, I think it was called. And by the way, Anthony Bourdain agrees with me. About bars. Not ISIS.
Second, as Wonathon Joss (lol) pointed out, you can definitely be straight and go to gay bars. It's more common than people think. No one's gonna rape you or grab your ass at a gay bar. You may get a wink or a "Hi there" but if you're not like 15 years old you can easily navigate around these relatively tame hints. I'm straight(TM) but I have gay friends and I've tagged along to gay bars two or three times. It's not my favorite thing to do but when you have friends you do stuff like that for/with them. I dunno what Adam's excuse was.
Third, maybe it's some evolutionary thing, but gays can totally tell when a virgin or straight guy is in the club. The minute chibitch shows up, awkwardly shuffling around, nursing some cheap domestic beer for 45 minutes, checking his phone and discord all night, those figs can tell. You've got no game with women or men whatsoever, Adam. You reek of incel. The gays are going to pick up on it immediately and avoid you and your danger hair.
Lastly, the way he's wording it with those ellipses and that shy, mealy-mouthed way of pussy footing around his experience seems like he's overtly suggesting that he's...shy and... curious about the...whole thing

There are a thousand songs to choose from when you do karaoke. Even in this pretend-land that Chibi has where everyone clapped and patted his swamp ass, why would you choose to sing a song with no real vocals for karaoke?
My Sanctuary is literally just talking with one octave change and random distorted noises. At least pretend you sung Simple and Clean. Or Rocket Man. Or something that requires practice.

This absolutely did not happen. No karaoke joint has that shit unless you're in with the DJ at an especially divey joint and they're willing + capable of playing youtube if you specifically ask. Most places won't play anything that doesn't come from a disc they personally ripped after the Sound Choice lawsuits, and if they do, they're not gonna piss off their crowd with shit like that unless you tip them VERY well. The only believable part, ironically, is that everyone cheered. It's kind of an unspoken rule that you cheer the loudest for the shittiest singers so they don't feel bad.
