I wonder if the reason that her dad looks so angry is that they came to her place to talk about her weight. An intervention of sorts?

In the past her dad has smiled and joked with her and the camera. Even talked about things. Like the bourbon tour. He's mad or upset or something.

If you're trying to create something why would you show a major part of it ahead of time? Her makeup should have been a surprise. That's like showing a major plot twist in the trailer. She's so predictable. It's sad.

She doesn't gain much weight from the last time he saw her; if he wasn't alarmed/didn't care/try to talk about it then, why would he suddenly be all worried now? Maybe she was too annoying for him to keep smiley face this time

Plus, it just seems like she’s insulting him in the videos. I know I wouldn’t be too thrilled if my 500lb daughter was saying activities that are “not too much” are great for me. Or that letting me captain the boat might have been a bad decision. I don’t think her dad looks like an asshole. Imo he looks like he’s trying to tune her out because she’s an energy vampire who never shuts the fuck up.

I don't know, she actually manages to finish her projects and continuously put out content. Compared to Jude, she's way higher functioning, and I don't believe Jude has ADHD. And compared to Amber or Chantal, Anna is a high powered A-personality business boss babe.

But I know comparisons aren't useful for diagnosis. (And obvs Amber and Chantal are just plain old narcissists.) She could have it, she just seems actually more organized than I'd expect from someone with ADHD who is also so ginormously fat, like, eating MUST take up a huge chunk of her day.

How much of Anna's productivity can we chalk up to her rotating paid support staff? I think there's something in the theory that her dad makes sure she always has a wrangler, regardless of what her actual brain deal is.

I don't really think she's much higher functioning than Jude or AL she just had an upper middle class home with a huge network of Mormon connections to get her where she is. If her dad didn't get the HS dropout into BYU and then Columbia none of this ever happens. She also got a job at middle management at Citibank right out of college that had to have been a family connection as well. If she doesn't have all that help she never could have quit Sprinkr (or been fired, who knows) to focus full time on making a spectacle of herself on social media with that golden parachute.

Even to this day I suspect her dad actively manages quite a few things in her life.

Those who are more intelligent grow out of ADHD, sorta, or at least learn to manage it better. Not saying Anna is spectacularly brilliant, but she’s certainly higher on the IQ chart than Chantel or Judy.

She likely has all the hallmarks: easily distracted, difficulty with finishing what she doesn’t want to do, hyperfocus on what she does want, but she has figured out tools to mitigate it.

She finished a college degree, made up as it may have been, posted she’d do things and done them (although they are rarely as amazing as she says.). But she may have trouble sending clothes that don’t fit back, paying a bill on time, the sort of ADD that Judy and Chinny also have but Anna doesn’t post about it, or does well enough to hire an accountant to do, etc.

ADD can be managed without medication but things will go undone. Housework gets interrupted because in the decision to organize clothes, the person decides they need new drawer pulls or a paint job and the original thing doesn’t get done.

Anna’s dad has always looked like a nice guy to me. Anna could have just taken bad photos or videos, or in the few months since Dad has seen her, Dad has seen a sudden decline in her mobility and it’s brought back trauma.

True idiots like Chantel and Judy don’t even start things and I’m not sure they are ADD.

She was probably stress eating. I really hope her family is no longer visiting. Watching your daughter stuff her face with a dozen donuts would be horrible. Especially having watched your wife and other daughter die from obesity complications.

Sorry, let me depressingly correct you: vice president. She was a vice president at Citibank straight out of grad school. A level of achievement that remains out a reach for most MBAs. Straight out of school.

When she reported on her ~very first office job~ as a vice president of an international banking conglomerate, she blogged about how those mean old bosses didn't appreciate her gluing googly eyes to the office plants. That was what she thought work was.
