Just curious what people think, when China decides Taiwan is apart of China again, whether that's before the end of this year or sometime in 2022, how do TPTB react to it? Would it effect Joe's approval numbers? Would Americans even care?

On it's own, no. Combined with Afghanistan, every other nation in the region will follow China's lead, not the US's and that will effect American sovereignity when China is the one that dictates international trade.

Depends on what said descision involves. If they invade Taiwan that likely means war with the US, Japan, Australia, and probably other nations in the region too. I suspect that the PRC knows this and won't risk that kind of conflict.

This actually passes into law into PA, and is actively enforced against at minimum one individual

That one individual sues for violation of his person, up to the supreme court

Supreme court doesn't cuck out on saving the dudes nuts, and ends up setting precedent that law cannot mandate the application of a medical procedure

Queue an injunction and a lot of legal wrangling to try and construe a vaccine as a medical procedure or not

Its a pipe dream, but its more fun to think about than listening to lefties screech about how forced sterilization is the same as not being allowed to sterilize yourself post-fertilization.

It's not stupid, and new businesses opening up in China has ground to a complete standstill.

On the face of it, the deal wasn't even bad. They offered to subsidize the opening of businesses within their boundaries for far less taxes, way lower worker costs, to get a 'virtually identical product in the end. It presented a theoretical massive drop in overhead costs. And then... they did it. They kept it going for almost ten years with only a few mishaps. Which encouraged more deals, more movement of the industry.

Turns out, it was merely a slow-acting poison.

IIRC, in the history of China they would convince anyone that conquered China that they were, in fact, now Chinese. As in they would pamper the ever loving hell out of them, essentially say “Being Chinese is awesome, eh?” then the new “Emperor” would go along with it because why not? (Recalling this from a college world history course.)

Slow acting mental poisons are literally China’s one good trick, for that reason alone.
