With him bragging about playing music in front of such large crowds... Do you think he was just in school band or something?

He seems to lie like Amber used to (I don't follow her anymore) - lots of half truths, leaving out the key details that make it sound like normal shit.
He played in a local boomer country band. Iirc he was just a touring member and played keyboard/lap guitar. It's in the OP. So he has played live but the 30k number is probably atleast a ten fold exaggeration.

It could be true if they were the opening act for a bigger band, but a band like that on their own would be lucky to get 30 people, much less 30K. But since we're talking about Rioley, we should assume he's lying his ass off.

His sister was Alice and the Glass Lake (I think that’s the correct name), so if he played with her band live he’s probably played reasonably decent sized venues. Rioley is trying to sound like the fifth member of The Smiths or something, when he’s really just a token musician dude who only got the gig because he’s related to a (vaguely)famous singer (his sister), and that’s cheaper than hiring a regular session musician.

He must think he tries harder than he does.

Rioley: I put on my girlclothes, put my hair down, did my makeup, shaved, and the pizza guy still misgendered me.

In actuality: I put on my trucker guy clothes, put my thinning middle-aged man hair down, did my makeup like a neanderthal, shaved and missed the 5 o'clock shadow but my FFS totally makes up for it, and the pizza guy still misgendered me.
I think he just has unrealistic expectations of what’s supposed to happen. I don’t believe for one second that he’s never been gendered correctly. When anybody sees a dude wearing a dress, they know he probably doesn’t want to be called sir. What Rioley doesn’t seem to realize is that every instance in which he isn’t called sir or man, is an instance where somebody played along. Of course he doesn’t just want them to play along, he wants people to shout “You go girl!” when he blows up on service industry workers.

He was in The Ghosts of Wyoming. I can only find 4 videos on youtube and only 1 of them has a keyboard player while none has a lap guitar.

But you can cut of me legs and call me Shorty if that's him on the XB2.

This is april 2019 btw.

I decided to search for "Brett Lemke" on youtube and I think this is him? I swear I haven't seen this in the Kev thread yet. Screenhot side by side:

I'm on mobile so I can't use youtube-dl to archive I'm sorry thank you @greengrilledcheese for the archive

The video is extremely boring, but if it is him, then I can't believe how it all went so wrong

He was actually attractive at one point. Of course, he was a weirdo even before trooning out, but nothing terminal at this point. Lots of artsy weirdos grow up to be perfectly functional members of society.

But, I could totally see him being the kind of dude where girls see him across the room and think he's hot, but then when they talk to him they start plotting their exit strategies because the alarm bells go off and the hair on the back of their neck stands up. He does just give off that vaguely serial killer vibe. Or at the very least a stalker-ish vibe.

He seems sociable and sympathetic here. Was it his sister's death that flipped him inside out?
I'm still waiting on the brain tumor diagnosis but this is possible. People with personality disorders can start off fine but have a few shitty traits, then escalate when stress happens until it is full blown. He could also be more capable of turning the crazy on and off at a point.

That’s why Rioley is so interesting to me. He went from being a relatively attractive, normal-ish dude (SORRY! ma’am) to publicly rolling around in diapers, begging for a hole to be drilled into his perineum, and just acting completely unhinged.

People like Kevin and Penny never stood a chance…they were always going to be gross incels imo. Maybe that’s the case with Rioley too, but I would love to know what started him down the dark path of troondom and furries and why/when exactly his mental health started deteriorating.

edit: Also, Rioley seems gay. Do gay AGPs exist? He sure doesn’t look like most HSTS.

One would assume a plastic surgeon would have plenty of money to leave when he dies; especially since Rioley is now an only child.

Edit: I think I figured it out - Dad sold the family lake house: https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/6905-N-Rustic-Dr_Rhinelander_WI_54501_M91714-76050

So I was re-reading the article about Alice and the Glass Lake and found this:
Alicia began working with people in the music industry in New York and Los Angeles, who urged her to change her name so as not to be confused with other musical Alicias like Alicia Keys. She came up with the name Alice and the Glass Lake as an ode to the lake in northern Wisconsin where the family had a cabin.

“The first time she ever saw it she had this incredible reaction,” Gale said. “She shook and said it was the most incredible place she’d ever seen. She’d go up there all the time to write and find her center and dig down deep.”

I can't decide if selling the lake house four years after Alicia died is heartless or understandable - I guess it's all how you deal with memories and grief.

Also Brett went to California in 2009 or so and I doubt he was touring with his sister while he was at UCD, being a Super Activist, running the WEF, and living in Baggins End. He seemed very invested in his life in CA and uninterested in what was happening elsewhere. I wonder what the family dynamic was like growing up - I get the feeling Alicia was the golden child and Brett was just... there.

Growing up on Madison’s west side, Alicia attended Shorewood Hills Elementary, Blessed Sacrament School and West High School. She was big into performing music and plenty of other creative pursuits including theater, appearing in numerous Children’s Theatre of Madison productions.

“It was like raising two children,” Gale said. “She was driven so creatively in so many different areas. Everything she touched she did amazingly well.”

After graduating from West, Alicia went to school at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, taking a double major in biology and musical theater that reflected her passion for both science and the arts. She eventually pursued the arts route, attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and then moved to New York, gigging around clubs in the city. It was during those New York years that she developed her voice as a musician.

What an odd thing to say, especially when you actually HAVE two children... also Swarthmore is Dr. Brad's alma mater.

The claim his father had power of attorney always interested me. If this claim is true, there must have been a point at which the PoA was triggered by Rioley being incompetent to act for himself. In someone his age, this 99.9% means he was held involuntary inpatient. (We say someone was sectioned, I think you say they were 5150'd.) He's clearly not suffering from dementia, or a serious physical progressive condition like motor neurone disease, and we would alllll fucking know if he had ever been a coma patient for any length of time. For this PoA stuff to be true, something took him out of the game and then put him back into it, superficially functional.

Detention for involuntary treatment would trigger most normally-constructed powers of attorney. Also, the way he talks about his "retirement fund" being dispersed by his dad, if true, would fit with his father needing to use the PoA to wind up his affairs wherever he was living at the time. Pay off rent arrears, move or sell possessions etc. The PoA is entitled to use the incompetent's funds to do that. His dad is a successful plastic surgeon; he is neither stupid nor (most probably) unsavvy about personal finance. I wonder if what happened was his dad liquidated everything he could of Rioley's, settled his debts, and basically ensured he came out of inpatient with no financial responsibilities to take care of.

I wonder if there is somewhere in Rioley's history, between running hippy musical festivals and skinwalking his dearly departed sister, a very serious episode of mental illness that he is jusssst about self aware enough not to bring up for internet cloutz. So, sometime in the timeframe between 2013 (that video above) and 2019 (internet galpal of Kevin)? What do we know of his movements or internet footprint during those years? Is there a point where he dips out of view for about 12 to 18 months?

It would explain a lot about his behaviour around healthcare services: the entitlement to care, the "I know my rights" type bullshit, the serious aggression towards nursing staff and nursing assistants, the obsession with the confidentiality of his records, the obsession around being alone with the doctor and only seeing the doctor and THE DOCTOR CAN FIX ALL MY TROUBLES. Those are all behaviours you frequently see in people who had difficult inpatient experiences.

It would also explain why he is screened out of tranny chop chop times so often, even by notorious butchers. I wonder if there is something in his actual (not made up intersex or other crap) medical history that makes him too unstable for even the butchers to take on. A history of violence towards staff whilst inpatient (so he would have never have gone through the courts for it and we wouldn't be able to dig out a criminal record) would do it.
