I love people like this; they're experts in everything, and this guy has internet degrees in volcanology, seismology, navigation, surfing tsunamis, and everything else that supports his pet theories.

At least they're more entertaining than Qanon.

Which is why reporting from guys like Bushcraft Bear is so valuable; he's showing the ash everywhere, the cloud of fog & steam which enveloped the island last night, etc. When he says it's time to go, then I'll know to cancel my trip to the Canaries.

as for lack of nuclear disaster prep possibly being a bong thing: this might have to do with the history of anti-nuclear protests in the UK, which were either immediately infiltrated or originally created by the Communist Party of Britain, which was under direct Soviet control. Either way the anti-nuclear protests were directly run from Moscow as part of the USSR's very effective strategy of co-opting antiwar socialists for international revolution and undermining the West. One of the purposes British antinuclear activists were used for was smearing the concept of preparation for nuclear war and this got associated with nuclear power plants.

it's instructive to compare the situation in France, where the national CP retained significantly more independence from Moscow during the Cold War, and where the concept of nuclear power is deeply integrated into how French kids are taught to be French. I don't know anything about how people living around French nuclear power plants are prepared for disasters but if we have any frogs who know I am really curious.

also it's not suprising that Spanish officials are telling people to go to the Canaries and party because Spanish people are stupid.

I can't see any reason to even try to evacuate if you live in Central or South FL and aren't unreasonably rich and a significant slide happens. You're going to get several hours notice and even without every retard on the roads trying to fuck off it takes 3 hours to get to the border from Central FL. Head inland if you can but South FL evacuations from a sudden tsunami warning would be hell on earth even if the tsunami itself ends up being a nothing burger
 
We will be taking bids on some nice soon to be beachfront property in Appalachia.

Edit; Found some great official drone footage of just how much land the lava flows have created. It does a nice job of giving scale to all of this. I think the estimate is about 30 hectares of new land.

I just participated in Ludum Dare, and the rating period isn't over for another two weeks. If the Apocalypse could take a break to make sure I get scored, that'd be swell.

In more serious terms, outside of La Palma, my talk about a period of higher volcanic activity might be more true than I'd wanted, what with more and more waking up now.

Don't worry about any of that

We have been pretending everything is normal since the Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak.

Most people are just going through the motions and pretending old things matter like gas prices. Society was broken in 2020 and is never coming back and its apparent to anyone who can see analyze whats going on supply chains right now. Alot of people are dieing right now and many have died and many many more will die.

The decision to mass inoculate people with an experimental vaccine type that never has worked and then all of a sudden the media normalize heart failure and heart attacks as a common thing should of rang alarm bells. People are dieing everywhere in there sleep. The solution was many multitudes worse than the actual problem.


We may never know why our governments reacted this way. Maybe the Ayy's landed and gave an ultimatum about destroying the planet, through that lense the government actions make sense.

The volcano and megatsunami would just be the second phase. We have definitely entered an apocalyptical timeline of War, Plague and Totalitarianism
