Kari is an interesting study. She was a Fox News anchor here in PHX for many years and walked away from it because she no longer wanted to be part of the media distortion. But being an anchor brings her tons of instant recognition and comfort of familiarity with voters because she's been in their homes on TV for years.
I get all her emails and she's going for it with veteran events, hosted gun range get togethers and others that hit all the buttons for conservatives here.
Brnovich (our AG) is pretty solid as well, but he ain't as pretty as Kari. Slappy's call on this? Kari, simply on the recognition and likeability factors. Ducey is termed out, so I don't see a real bloodbath, just inevitably a new Governor. And we've had female Govs in the past, so that's not even an issue.

When I went over the AZ govs, I have multiple reasons why Lake will win the nom. Trump's endorsement is one, but she has the energy factor from being well known in AZ. She has the energy.
The problem in 2022 in AZ is SoS Hobbs. Bitch stole the Senate seat in 2018 by "declaring an emergency" and leaving polling places open for 3 weeks after the election, turning McSally's 2 point win to a narrow loss over time.
