They might care and it might just not be visible, I've already conceded that. You would think that you would at the least hear Ralph mouthing off about her parents from even a minor slight ala Vickers.

There is a clear difference between trying your damnedest to avert children from life ruining decisions, and attempting to protect them from every little mistake.

I do not see shacking up with a paedophile, or a violent felon as little mistakes. These both have the potential to have huge consequences that will be with May her entire life, and in reality already have. She's known as a Lolicon and is now connected to Ralph for the next 18 years at the least.
