Here s what I dont get.

James said the reason for the weaker AVGN episodes was because they were soo swamped with work on monster madness.

But even the slobs couldnt just watch 31 horror movies. so lets say average movie is 110 minutes. 110 times 31 is 3410 minutes or 56 hours or 2.4 days.

So i m gonna say that coulda had people watch 2-3 movies a day and research facts and do some scripts.

Interesting time management issue.

I can see basically delegating the 31 movie research review and writting amoung a couple of people.

there is still alot of freedom devide horror movies into sub genre indie, scifi, monster, horror, independent, erotic, based on comics, era.

With soo much creativity it could be fun.

But the slobs are lazy.

The funny thing is, the sub is way more hostile to James than the KF thread. The sub goes into some beyond autistic over-analysing and A-Logging of James, like over his club-foot and the Dragon In My Dreams video. I think both groups agree he's a cow, but if anything, the over-reactions are more from the sub than here.

Reddit hates the farms because it's a different ideology, Reddit is a hive mind for serious internet points, and farms it's an actual discussion about a topic with the shitposts. Also, they probably hate James because he's a "Cis white male , with a wife and kids."

I like how some of the subreddit is thinking we have nothing else better to do than to dox his wife and kids. Sure, there's that guy that doxed Draco but even then he came from Reddit to here to begin with.

Still, if they are expecting us to go on James Rolfe they're gonna be very disappointed.

This can be a form of projection or shift blaming "it's not us, its the dirty farms."

They really licensed everything during the 80's and early 90's, specially in Europe, where you can find games based in soap operas.

James needs to retire the channel to save some shred of his former dignity and legacy, but he never will so long as money is still trickling in so he can continue to live the life of leisure he’s become accustomed to.

James has built up so much goodwill over the years that he could have several years that are as big of a shitshow as this year's been for him, retire for a few years, and then if he made 2-3 good AVGN videos he'd get a huge amount of views and countless people cheering "AVGN is back!" Personally I think he should just retire now, figure out how to do this whole thing better, and then try a comeback.

He'd probably still be pretty fun to talk to at a convention if you were into horror movies, retro games, 80s rock, or anything James is actually interested in and of course if James had the time to talk to you. I'd just treat him like any other creator who makes shitty, phoned-in junk and gets defensive over their failed creation.
