Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Not really. Every day he was behind bars, he made the Marine Corps look bad in public. The USMC can't stand that. He's out, for now. Hope Scheller gets the mental health evaluation he so desperately needs. If the Marine Corps was smart, and they are at times, they could use an evaluation showing Scheller has PTSD/whatever, and medically retire him quietly. Scheller retires, does whatever, but he's out of the USMC's hair. Now he's the VA's problem for mental health help. Should he keep making statements about the USMC, the Marines can always point to the psychiatric evaluation and the medical retirement - "Consider the source."

For some reason I'm imagining this scenario:

The whistleblower goes to tattle on Facebook, a 5 year old child. Facebook the child goes on a huge temper tantrum going "NUH-UH!!! THATS NOT TRUE!!" while destroying all of his toys and punching holes in the wall (i.e. the entire website goes down). Other kids around facebook see him loosing his shit and start to cry from the horrific scene they are watching (i.e. employees can't get into their office, tweets are leaking about the entire scene, etc.).

This "response" is Facebook hiding in his club house saying "no entry allowed", throwing water balloons at anyone that passes by (bans/warnings/etc.) while he becomes paranoid as fuck thinking that the members that are in his club are out to get him so he grills them 15 bajillion times watching them if they ever so much as move a stick the wrong way (i.e. the need for more censorship)

This whole scenario is literally that stupid and childish.

What the fuck is the deal with the proliferation of these anti-molestation films starring kid-friendly mascots? I suppose it’s a resource for the kids whose parents are negligent enough to not even once instruct “if someone touches your fucking no-no, TELL me.” Imagine finding out that you were molested through watching one of these?

Here’s one with He-Man & She-Ra from the 1980s. Kinda vague in messaging…

“Tell your minister or rabbi.” Great advice THAT is.

Some parents don't think it would ever happen, so they never talk to their kids about it. It's like when a kid in a sleepy town walks home from school, only to get kidnapped and/or murdered. The townspeople always say that its never happened before, so they never worried about it.

Also keep in mind that it might be the parents themselves that are doing it to them. This is a way to get the message to those kids.

TL;DR all parents, illegal or legal would get monthly payments of between $250-$300 for each child they have. Depending on how many illegal children you think live in the US it would mean somewhere between 2 and 2.4 billion, perhaps higher dollars going to their parents.

If you want to translate that into political capital terms: Democrats trying to heavily shore up their support with immigrant populations, as well as generally just improve support among all American parents.

This shit ain’t astroturfed- I remember there were some local groups via FaceBook that organized weekly pro-Trump standouts along intersections and highways in my area during the good years. Like the flotillas, those efforts were organic, REAL support; this is the same, but in the inverse. It’s not Soros-esque, rent-protestors-via-Craigslist shit. It’s genuine, grassroots support (or in this case, opposition).
