ChocolateFuzz came by tonight and said he was contributing because he was watching old playthroughs.
He was leaving, and Phil told him that YT is adding the ability to support him directly on his "On Demand" videos.
So if you're watching him and you're like "wow! I'm so nostalgic! I want to support Phil!" you'll be able to do that soon!

Phil doesn't haven it enabled on his channel yet. But he did email YT to ask for it ASAP.

You could hear how excited he was about this.
Plus it fits his desire - as of right now, I don't know that we'd be able to see these contributions unless we went back and watched the old videos to see where people threw money at him. Phil sees this as an avenue to get money but keep it hidden from us.

I think we're seeing the birth of a new arc: Phil awkwardly and excessively reminding everyone that he is eating something homemade every single night. If you question him in any way about this you'll be banned. Haha, those bank document leaks really really got to him.

How long until he tries to pass off some chicken sandwiches from KFC as his own Piggly creations to the stream/Instagram? Like a horrible Simpsons parody. (Skip to 1:35, I'm a mobile fag.)

Yup, not sure how Super Thanks are supposed to be tracked once they are enabled but I'll see what the options are.

He's the type of paypig I find really interesting.
So when Phil drops this game, which he clearly implied would be immediately after his 10th run, will GameTrekker pack his bag, and pull a Quantum Leap to another streamer picking up the game, and guide them with contributions? Is he the shitty Baggar Vance of Hades?
Or was there something about Phil's combination of retardation and begging that prompted this one-off.
It's not the first time he's pulled a paypig like this for one game.

Assuming he isn't some whale sock that got a little extra love and attention for the purpose of LARPing, of course.

Which would make his income even higher than the running totals documented here, backfiring even more when he claims to be bringing in much less than the documented tips/superchats from his livestreams. Perfect DSP logic.

He's hoping to one day drunkenly wake up at 10AM from his gin-induced stupor, and see that YouTube enabled this new donation method on the thousands of videos that he spammed out that comprise his 13 Year Beggacy.
After years of saying that he would never re-enable YouTube comments, all it took was the future promise of Behind The Scenes money for DSP to go back on his word.
His greed really knows no bounds.

I think it's the "hapless grandpa" act that Phil puts on which attracts people who feel compelled to handhold.
Especially with a chatroom as small and slow as Phil's, it's real easy to become King Fish when it's a game that you know and can guide the streamer to victory.
You see it happen a lot lately, I saw it happening when some vtuber was playing Darkest Dungeon and this one guy was telling her how to win with every message.
Of course, we all know it's not that the game is too complicated for Phil and he needs the unique wisdom of one handsome Gametrekker to win. He just can't be assed to give a shit.

My money is on he is just some faggot who surfs streams looking for Hades. When someone that autistic about a video game once they "finish" it they do everything they can to still get entertainment out of it. Game Trekker found his its giving money to people to "teach" them the game.

I think he also likes this game because so far Alan Wake met people who recognize his dumb face and Phil could only dream about the same thing happening to him. (I think he sees himself in him/wishes to be loved and "famous")
