Twitch has been compromised

Fuck me that's a depressing list.... never have so little talent been paid so much....
I raise you the entire Football Association

So who's betting Twitch will sweep this under the rug and the big fucking streamers decide to fuck off? I mean this is pretty fucking big and screwed the platform over really hard. Of course I'm betting against it, streemers need their MILLIONS a fucking year to feed their tiger, god forbid it gets hungry.
Literally where are they gonna go? Mixer? Nobody uses Facebook Gaming and YouTube can't be bothered to circumvent ad blocking in the way Twitch does so there's no fat revenue there.

VTubers make a sizeable amount on YouTube, but they're also under companies. YouTube has a different "culture" than Twitch, though - I doubt any big names will make a switch, especially because a lot of them have contracts.

Too many hacks are happening to too many large companies in too short of a time. Im getting convinced something big is going to happen in the near future.
We are going to lose the internet. I feel it in my gut. We will be cut off from the world before we know it.

Hypothetically: does anyone here know a way to bypass something like that with special tech or is everyone just completely screwed if the internet locally is down?

Amazon hosts more than 50% of the internet. Jeff can go "lol fuck you" and take down practically the entire internet all at once.

What, you mean like if a lumberjack comes and chops it down?

First Facebook, now Twitch?

Seriously, that entire site is cancer.
I can 100% honestly say I’ve never been to it in the last 5 years, and never had an account
I caved and made an account very recently only so I could receive drops for the single online game I enjoy playing in my time off. I'm feeling pretty dumb right now. No nice things, ever.

I'm interested in how their alhorithm picked and promoted front page streamers, the only issue being finding the time to actually look into that shit. That could be as interesting as the actual earnings. Similarly, looking into any message history between streamers and staff - if that's been logged, it's a potential goldmine.

Sounds like you're just disappointed it's not neko shota noises.
I'll die happy not knowing the fuck that means.
That's an actually entertaining fuckup.
