the point was whether the threads needed to exist now that bella's family has been looked at under a microscope and all that remains is spook conspiracy theories. quick edit, infact - did they even need to exist in the first place? it's said later on in the thread now but i was saying it before - everytime a new lolcow comes along, we don't make a new thread for every member of their extended family. why? because it's pointless and gay and the threads on ILJs parents have done nothing but prove that. anyway, i've been typing for too long

This is a good point. You don't typically make a new thread for every dox, and even Dynastia didn't do that in the past. I liked how it was often inline, meaning it would scare their underoos full but with time it'd be buried. They don't get that levity but it is an important distinction. Blasting whole doxes of families into full segregated threads felt a lot like some kind of revenge. Let's make this bigger than it is, kind of ordeal. It wasn't and there was no worthwhile discussion in those threads.

My synopsis:

A once useful board to gather information helped form multiple diva personalities and has degenerated into a containment cell of multiple threads where said divas launch autistic ad hominem attacks on each other. It’s gay, and there’s already plenty of gay around here.

It seems the divide in opinion, for the most part, is between people who regularly post in/read the sub (many of whom are newer users, but not all) versus those who don't post in the sub (presumably because they don't like it for the reasons listed, although some seem to have more spergy reasons).

If we look at the issue from the latter perspective, what motivation is there to click on the sub at all? Why not just ignore it? It's unlikely that every person who wants this sub deleted is active on every one of the other subs that currently exist, so I don't understand the harm in keeping the sub alive for those that DO read and participate in it.

One possible motivation is some sort of sense of community and how veterans may view this sub as a hovel for new users, whom they dislike on principle. I sort of get that, given the amount of idiots that have joined as post-Mergers. However, a quick look at the CWC sub reveals that there are absolute idiots who have had accounts for many years, yet they seem to be tolerated. So, I don't find this to be a very reasonable approach, and in my eyes seems to insinuate some feeling of entitlement from some of those users, which is of course very gay for obvious reasons.

There are, of course, a few individuals who seem to be particularly MATI because of the TAH incident, SpookyBones in particular, etc. I don't find their opinions to be of any value but that's just me. Yea, some shitty in-house drama went down, but they chose to get involved and mad about it, I feel that's on them.

Ultimately, I think the only opinion that matters is Null's, but he doesn't seem interested enough to come to his own conclusions, relying on biased (from both sides) Tweet-length summaries of the sub. That being said, I think the question is "What does Null want for KF and where does the sub fit into the equation," and everyone sperging out in this thread (myself included) should be summarily ignored and laughed at.

people love to ddos the farms and ddos attacks get more advanced by the day. the farms being hit by a more sophisticated attack than the norm does not mean 'glowies'

It's not that ddos methods are getting more advanced, but that It's an exponentially more expensive endeavor the longer you want to ddos a site.

Also, the big ddos happened right at the perfect time the Xenforo staff were fucking off on a weekend, whereas the regular furtranny ddos happens at randoms days, with no coordination or hassle. It might be speculation, but there's reasons why people think it's more than a coincidence.

Not to ruffle the Tooter-stans, but the Tommy Tooter subforum is pretty boring and uneventful, and it fits exactly what Hot is alluding to. What's exactly stopping the Tooter subforum from being a very popular lolcow thread?

I missed out on the autism slapfight thunderdome, but I think it wouldn't hurt closing down all threads in this subforum that have run their course, only keep one for general updates regarding Bella's simps, one for Bella and her family herself and keep it that way until anything new and exciting happens.

Whether this subforum should continue to exist or not, I dunno. I'd go with whatever is the funniest option. Bella was such a stupid fucking mongoloid, thinking she's untouchable and the "best troll in Christory", so keeping this subforum around, just so anyone googling her name will stumble upon it with a well-sorted and well-curated list of threads to read up on her fungus-adventures... now that seems like it's some justice for her thot hubris.
On the other hand, putting her general update thread into the Chris-forum, just to underline that she's nothing more than a furuncle on Christory, does have some stuff going for itself, too.
