Twitch has been compromised

People on Reddit seem to be taking it well.

And yet no one disappoints more than plebbitors. If all these people and their parasocial idols were banished to another dimension it'd only be a net gain for the world.

This is obviously an internal leak of a programmer having major disagreements. I wouldn't be surprised when Part2 exposes sexual deviants working for Twitch and how diversity HR silences victims.

We've been so wrong about YandereDev. He cannot work on his game because he is working for Twitch, some code I saw is YandereDev level of bad.

If anyone wants a job at Amazon, it's about to get a lot easier. Just sayin.

I wouldn't recommend it
From skin and hair color to white skinhead because they are loyal and won't leak the entire source code.

Google would be stupid not to grasp the opportunity to "get inspired" to improve the Userinterface of YT gaming and when they do the majority of small streamers will move to YouTube leaving only those with big contracts at Twitch.

Shorting Amazonstocks might be a good idea.

While we're on the subject of pathetic Twitch losers, anyone remember a streamer from a couple of years ago - ugly Asian girl, her Twitch description was sadposting like, "I am very sad, and my life is sad." She never spoke or smiled. She would just lie reclined on a chair watching a monitor up higher than her. The camera was blatantly aimed at the side of her unnaturally huge left breast.

Couple hundred viewers. Half of them were 4chan trolls recruited on a thread every time she streamed and told her she's ugly, and the other half were weird simp enablers telling her she isn't ugly.

I was working on a dox for her before the coof, but I think I lost the bookmarks, and now I can't even remember her Twitch name.
I gotcha brohamatron.

The last dox I saw she wasn’t even handicapped other than the back breaking boobs

Allegedly Alinity gets $233,802.00 from subs, presumably over the two year window. Source: some in her Twitch. She claims $90-100k a year. Ewww at her OF pics. Janke the foul has a rival. Someone must have a fetish for infected feet. Well that's known from the Janke the foul simps.:cryblood:

but the reality is some things aren't enumerable. You fundamentally can't predict nigger homophones in a way that you form a complete nigger adjacent set.
Yeah I know, but a massive chain of if statements is less readable than putting those conditionals in a big list of expressions to match against in a segregated file and iterating over it where it matters. It's not going to perform worse or better, as it's basically the same thing (speed-wise), but

“clean code looks like it was written by someone who cares”

As it has been mentioned, it's probably a SQL query and you can't do fancy pants shit with it, but it's still ugly and I don't like it

Come on, from what I've seen, these people haven't heard of env variables, don't expect too much. A lot of this code is like Udemy-pajeet-education levels of bad.

Let's be honest tho, if I was being paid just to deliver code and I wasn't invested in the project (that being restricting offensive usernames on a shitty website) I'd write whatever bullshit passed the unit tests (if they even really ran those) as well. It's easy to shit on crap programmers if it's not your 9-17 job, but I can't imagine twitch really deserves or cultivated the time love and care required to craft quality code.

Specially if your workplace is being flooded by newcomers that barely meet the bar, although idk how bad diversity hires really are, I'm more of a hobbyist programmer.

It's a sql query. It's declarative. Theres no "clean" way to fuzzy match that amount of variability in the search, and you should never do fancy regex matches on the DB level. A proper gist index will have that shit flying.

Depends on how shit the code is and how easily you can get into the databases in a practical setting. I hope to holy mother Mary that your assumption turns out to be true and we'll see the skeletons in Twitch's closet.
Don't have the leak in it's entirety yet, so I can't judge.
