The reason kids can't consent is because they're kids. It has nothing to do with their lack of sexual desire. I agree she's going about it for all the wrong reasons and she might just have a low libido although she's claimed otherwise. Doing it for your partner is not coersion in the least. I've definitely had sex with my hubs when I've not been in the mood for sex (and viceversa), because there is a certain unspoken consensual agreement between us, but that happens because we both enjoy sex together because we both like to have sex and we know we're not always going to be in synch for everything.

A real asexual, though, doesn't have those feelings. A real asexual is Jazz Jennings. That kid feels no pleasure from sex because his genitals are botched, and neither has sexual interest on anyone. If you have sex with him, it won't be a pleasant experience for him. You can say the same about someone with severe depression, for example: sex also involves a lot of emotional investment that, if it's not there, it makes it not a good experience. That's the reason why then many women (specially women) feel guilty later and accuse their partners of rape.

Nat's not asexual. She does have sexual feelings, but her sense of inadequacy is bigger than those feelings. To me, it looks like she WANTS to be sexual out of ideology rather than because she is into it. That's why she says she's an asexual slut: she feels pressured to have sex she really doesn't want to have but she has to. I can always tell my husband I don't want to and he's not gonna pressure me into it. Nat can't tell others she doesn't feel attracted to them because in her head, that's bigotry.
