In his "inspirational" video/PowerPoint from AGT failure one young Russ is shown in what looks to be a group Violin class in school.

I remember mentions of a guitar in a Taylor swift begging/crying video but don't remember seeing it with my own eyes.

Like everything else, he vastly over rates his skill level with musical ability, both playing and writing. If he were 10 years old and still in lessons to learn piano it would be cute.

Even if he had the knowledge behind him he’s missing the talent and I believe his fucked up fingers make playing properly impossible. One thing that fascinates me is how hard he hammers the keys, you can hear the mechanics of the keys being hit over any melody he’s trying to play.
