but how I understand it was that she was invited to a charity, which is for a museum, that has to raise it's own funding for the costume department section of the museum hence the charity event. And isn't paid for by taxes. Blah blah blah.

She got gifted tickets by the designer of the dress (ethics violation in Congress). Said designer owes hundreds of thousands in back taxes and owns several homes. Said designer uses a lot unpaid interns. AOC make more than the average American now is penetrating the celebrity elite of society, her dress’ statement may be publicly shared among them but they do their damnest to avoid taxes.

Maaaaan, I signed up just to see what my opponents in tekkinz was saying about me. I deserve it I suppose.
 
It's not that good imo considering: no benefits, dead end resume cancer, risk in being ostracized from society for saying the wrong thing (including scrutiny from the future), and generally having your degraded buffoonish ass immortalized every day on the internet. Couldn't image the self-reflected cringefest haunting the subconscious.

I mean yeah, the money might be worth it if you're at the very top and have a personality extreme enough to revel in humiliating yourself on a daily basis recorded for all eternity.

The vast majority of people detailed on this very website do it for free though (or some meager YT bux) so I'd say twitch streamers came out on top for this one.

I think you misunderstand the content; zoomers are dropping a fiver to make a text-to-speech program say a racism or bait the streamer into a pun, which they can then clip and proudly say "gottem!" to their friends on their phones. It's actually Fiverr or Cameo, but with extra steps.
