Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Here's the thing: As an entertainment industry, unlike say, banking or the auto industry, they already have a built-in bailout: it's called their fucking audience. You know, the people they've kept telling not to watch their increasingly shitty movies ("IF YOU'RE A WHITE MALE, DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE")? Maybe if they stopped pinching woke turd logs in our mouths for 15 fucking seconds and offer us something we actually want to watch, they wouldn't be suffering as hard right now.
They don’t even know what the poors want to watch.

Oh, they know, it's just that they won't listen to us and call our requests "fan entitlement". See: the many trashy articles that we've read on this very forum bemoaning yet another fan backlash to an unpopular remake of an old IP, and calling said fans "sexist, racist, homophobic Trumptard manbabies".

So, he finally said the quiet part out loud. I assume truck-loads of votes suddenly appearing for you at 4AM was also "part of the process", right? Blow me.

First election or something? Yes, truck loads of votes are dropped off 24-7 for a couple of days.

And no thank you.

The truth is, you aren't supposed to pronounce it any differently, you're just supposed to blindly accept the new spelling because they said so. It's only and entirely about exercising power over people by forcing them to conform to insanities. They presume to scream at reality itself until it bends to their whims.
I recall a friend of mine summarizing the outlook of "Latinx" pushers: "Evil people landed on American shores and said 'Look at these ignorant backwards people. We will bring them our enlightened beliefs, our enlightened language, our enlightened civilization' and that was terrible. Now, we good people look at these ignorant backwards people and bring them our enlightened beliefs, our enlightened language, our enlightened civilization and that is wonderful."

Pretty much. Start comparing leftists to Cortez and see if Sparks fly out of their head.

Anyone who actually speaks Spanish hates what Latinx is proposing: essentially turning every last letter in every word to -x because "its gendered." For an English equivalent, its like replacing vowels with "q". Have fun saying "cqr" or "Mqssqssqppq."

"Chingx tu madrx, putx."

How to you even pronounce this? How do you understand thia colloquially in a conversation? How do you go about rewriting every book with this batshit format? How do convince people to change their language over night? They think because white people are partially indoctrinated, and that they vote majority (for now) for Democrats like joggers, Hispanics will follow like them like liberals and blacks.

Spoiler alert: It's not going to happen. They aren't going to give up their language for feefees.
x might not stick at first but it's only a matter of time. subversives are using the letter E instead

mexico's ruling party has degenerates
Argentina allows you to use X in official documents
mexico's biggest drama "newspaper" shills for E
CNN doing what they do

Call me Pessimistic, but I don't think that TPTB can let Covid end right now. If they have nationwide pushes for vaccination, mass vilification of the unvaxxed, apocalyptic talk about how if they don't get to that 98% vaxx rate people will keep dying en mass, then what they've done is painted themselves into an image corner.
I saw two posts that used "TPTB" instead of writing out "the powers that be"; if you do this, kindly do us all a favor and kill yourself.

The Royal Spanish Academy of Spain refuses to acknowledge this idiocy, lol.

Guess this means Hispanic Lives Matter is gonna have to fly out to Madrid to start some Mostly Peaceful Protests™?

Biden has appointed another radical CRT proponent to the Department of Education

McKesson2-e1633585284653-640x480.jpg

President Joe Biden has appointed Precious McKesson, a Nebraska Democrat, racial radical, and Critical Race Theory activist, to the position of Special Assistant in the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Communications and Outreach.

Chair of the Nebraska Democrat Black Caucus and former Finance Director for the statewide party, McKesson recently embedded herself in the Critical Race Theory issue when she and some of her colleagues from the Nebraska Democrat Party’s Latinx [sic], black, and Native caucuses wrote an August 11 op-ed for the Lincoln Journal Star to oppose a measure to ban Critical Race Theory from being taught at the University of Nebraska.

Misleadingly, McKesson and co-authors Dulce Sherman and Collette Yellow Robe wrote that “Simply put, CRT examines social, cultural and legal issues as they relate to race and racism. Students would be taught about the systemic racism that still exists today and permeates our society.”

But this does not reflect the experience of many parents and students across the country who have seen a radical education curriculum take root, through the lens of the manifestly racist Critical Race Theory, which pushes the ideology that skin color ought to be the primary trait with which to judge others; or that black persons are inherently worthless in American society, and that they somehow cannot engage in “objective, rational linear thinking” or be on time; or that a black person’s purported worthlessness is directly attributable to some ether that is core to the existence of being a white person; and that because of these attributes, all white people are necessarily racist.

According to McKesson, however, it is the attempts to stop the teaching of the indoctrination scheme that “create a wedge between white communities and communities of color, making us the villain.” Continuing further, the new Department of Education appointee also believes that if Critical Race Theory were not an educational mainstay, “students would not be taught about the Tulsa race massacre” and “Our kids would never learn about the Trail of Tears,” calling attempts to block its teaching a “red herring resolution to erase history.”

“Denying our factual history as communities of color is like denying we existed,” McKesson and her comrades concluded.

Republican Study Committee Chair Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) said of McKesson’s appointment that “The Biden administration claims CRT [Critical Race Theory] doesn’t exist, then appoints a CRT activist to the Department of Education and sics the FBI on parents who oppose their poisonous ideology,” according to the Daily Mail.

Banks was referring to the recent directive from Attorney General Merrick Garland for the FBI to go after parents who are opposed to Critical Race Theory indoctrination in their children’s schools.

Banks said that McKesson’s appointment is a “slap in the face to parents across the country.”

“At a time when President Biden’s Justice Department is targeting school parents for simply voicing their concerns and objection to the teaching of radical curriculum in our nation’s schools,” Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) began, condemning McKesson’s appointment, “saying it is shocking, but not surprising, that they’ve moved to confirm another CRT advocate to a high rank within the Department of Education.”

McKesson’s new position makes her part of the team responsible for communicating department policy to parents and the general public. She was sworn in on October 4.

¿Quiénes son las personas no binarias?
Ask the local Mexican delivery guy or the proprietor of the taco stand that and you will get a "¡No chinges cabron!". Hopefully with some laughing but you get the picture. It's not going to be adopted by the plebes.

I believe it. My step mother is Hispanic. And funny enough is still registered as a Democrat (mostly because she didn't flip until like last year) but voted for Trump and really doesn't like Biden. She never voted republican until Trump and no one changed her mind because me or my dad never brought up politics to her. So she came up with her own conclusions and realized that the dems are not the party she remembered when she first got here.

Funny enough her daughter who lives in New York voted for Biden. Don't know who her other daughter voted for?

Also go to church when I went to North Carolina to visit my father and step mother. They have a small church and than another church in the back for another mass because there are so many Hispanic men and women who show up to pray to God. I remmber when I went to the one mass there was a Hispanic man along with his kid who entered half why during the mass. It looked like he just got out of work and just wanted to pray to Jesus. So I can imagine most Hispanics not giving a shit about culture war bullshit and just work, go to church and hang out with family on the grill.

There's even more Hispanics who are conservative leaning form my childhood entertainment like the dude who played Esteban on Suite life of Zach and Cody I was surprised to find out was a Trump supporter.
There are also plenty of Hispanics who families are religious but their kids go to the universities and end up turning into far leftist commies. The new pozzed curriculum being introduced in California was written by some commie spic who never traveled outside of California most likely.

Schumer: Agreement reached on short-term debt ceiling fix

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Thursday an agreement has been reached with Republicans to extend the government’s borrowing authority into December, temporarily averting a debt crisis.

“We’ve reached agreement,” Schumer announced as he opened the Senate. “Our hope is to get this done as soon as today.”

Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell had offered to accept a short-term extension on Wednesday, shortly before Republicans prepared to block legislation to suspend the debt limit until December of next year.

President Joe Biden and business leaders had ramped up their concerns that an unprecedented federal default would disrupt government payments to millions of people and throw the nation into recession.

The agreement sets the stage for a sequel of sorts in December, when Congress will again face pressing deadlines to fund the government and raise the debt limit before heading home for the holidays.

"Basically, I’m glad that Mitch McConnell finally saw the light,” said Bernie Sanders, the independent senator from Vermont. The Republicans “have finally done the right thing and at least we now have another couple months in order to get a permanent solution.”

Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., added that, assuming final details in the emergency legislation are in order, “for the next three months, we’ll continue to make it clear that we are ready to continue to vote to pay our bills and Republicans aren’t.”

Unsurprisingly, McConnell portrayed it very differently.

“This will moot Democrats’ excuses about the time crunch they created and give the unified Democratic government more than enough time to pass standalone debt limit legislation through reconciliation,” he said.

Congress has just days to act before the Oct. 18 deadline when the Treasury Department has warned it would quickly run short of funds to handle the nation’s already accrued debt load.

McConnell and Senate Republicans have insisted that Democrats would have to go it alone to raise the debt ceiling and allow the Treasury to renew its borrowing so that the country could meet its financial obligations. Further, McConnell has insisted that Democrats use the same cumbersome legislative process called reconciliation that they used to pass a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill and have been employing to try to pass Biden’s $3.5 trillion measure to boost safety net, health and environmental programs.

McConnell said in his offer Wednesday that Republicans would still insist that Democrats use the reconciliation process for a long-term debt limit extension. However, he said Republicans are willing to “assist in expediting” that process, and in the meantime Democrats may use the normal legislative process to pass a short-term debt limit extension with a fixed dollar amount to cover current spending levels into December.

While he continued to blame Democrats, his offer will also allow Republicans to avoid the condemnation they would have gotten from some quarters if a financial crisis were to occur.

Earlier Wednesday, Biden enlisted top business leaders to push for immediately suspending the debt limit, saying the approaching deadline created the risk of a historic default that would be like a “meteor” that could crush the economy and financial markets.

At a White House event, the president shamed Republican senators for threatening to filibuster any suspension of the $28.4 trillion cap on the government’s borrowing authority. He leaned into the credibility of corporate America - a group that has traditionally been aligned with the GOP on tax and regulatory issues - to drive home his point as the heads of Citi, JP Morgan Chase and Nasdaq gathered in person and virtually to say the debt limit must be lifted.

“It’s not right and it’s dangerous,” Biden said of the resistance by Senate Republicans.

His moves came amid talk that Democrats might try to change Senate filibuster rules to get around Republicans. But Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., reiterated his opposition to such a change Wednesday, likely taking it off the table for Democrats.

The business leaders echoed Biden’s points about needing to end the stalemate as soon as possible, though they sidestepped the partisan tensions in doing so. Each portrayed the debt limit as an avoidable crisis.

“We just can’t wait to the last minute to resolve this,” said Jane Fraser, CEO of the bank Citi. “We are, simply put, playing with fire right now, and our country has suffered so greatly over the last few years. The human and the economic cost of the pandemic has been wrenching, and we don’t need a catastrophe of our own making.”

Ahead of the White House meeting, the administration warned that if the borrowing limit isn’t extended, it could set off an international financial crisis the United States might not be able to manage.

“A default would send shock waves through global financial markets and would likely cause credit markets worldwide to freeze up and stock markets to plunge,” the White House Council of Economic Advisers said in a new report. “Employers around the world would likely have to begin laying off workers.”

The recession that could be triggered could be worse than the 2008 financial crisis because it would come as many nations are still struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic, the report said.

Once a routine matter, raising the debt limit has become politically treacherous over the past decade or more, used by Republicans, in particular, to rail against government spending and the rising debt load.

I belive it my step mother's daughter (my step sister) is finishing up college in New York city. So I wasn't really shocked when my step mother mentioned about her voting for Biden.
