As much as I fucking hate Melinda, if I saw her IRL I'd ignore her and chuckle to myself privately. At most I would try to snap a discreet pic. Not even I would walk brazenly up to her and demand her immediate suicide.

I'm just going to put this out there. I feel Melinda is a vexatious litigant by law, but in a courtroom the law on the books doesn't even matter. The court runs on case law which is basically what other judges have decided. Doesn't matter if it fits the letter of the law or not. Where I live most judges are elected. Most of them go unopposed and If I had money to burn I could put out enough ads to gain name recognition and become a judge if I so desired. Basically judges are lazy fucks who spent some money at some point to get where they are. Even for the appointed positions they bought a lower position and worked their way up. This is all based on my locale in the U.S. and experience in the courtroom. Fuck I found myself about to go into a full on rant but it is too late at night. The last time I appeared before a judge, a family friend whispered into his ear (I didn't even ask for it) so my case got moved to the top of the list, my paperwork was in order, and I got what I wanted. In and out of a courtroom in five minutes. The system is corrupt, but I guess I reap the benefits because my family stays connected as much as I isolate myself.

Even with what little I know of U.S. law, this should be an insta-rejection from the court. Live by free speech, die by free speech.

As a general rule most courts will on request keep personal addresses private if the litigant is not using their lawyers office as the location of Service. That's really all Mel is asking for in this one. Just to black out the home address. Not to seal the whole case file. It's not unhinged, it will be granted.

If she had kept it at that I would agree, but the saying it was copied to the farms with malicious intent with nothing to back that up pisses me off, but unless the judge also finds it to be without merit I'm sure you are right.

Im getting confused, there is simultaneously stuff going on both in the lower court, even though that case supposedly ended, and the appellate court at the same time? Can someone please give a brief summary of all the things currently pending and how they affect each other? Sorry if im the only one retarded enough not to get that on my own.
