But seriously, how fucking hard is it to buy a hamper, set aside a "cleaning day" that at best takes an hour and a half (depending on where you live), and trash/donate half of that shit to a Goodwill?
Extremely difficult bordering on impossible when the vast majority of what is scattered around is cheap plastic stuff/fast fashion trash. When nothing has real value and won’t last more than a few uses, deciding what to to keep is a gruelling task. Which is one of the many reasons these people just wait until the situation gets critical and the throw everything out but in a trendy way aka decluttering.
