Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Even AOC didn't initially get in via the right channels; the DSA primaried her in via a district nobody gave a shit about.
I don't think that's true. Yeah, the district itself they might not have cared about, but AOC primaried out the man that Nancy Pelosi was grooming (insert pun here) as her successor. I think that's one of the many many reasons why Pelosi despises AOC so much.

Because you're intentionally ignoring that the majority of the people suffering from NYC's problems didn't fucking cause them or ask for them.
You're also ignoring that letting the problem metastasize just fucks over the rest of the state.
This is one of those things we must always keep in mind lest we fall in the same cognitive hole as the Woke. Most people, even if they support their government to various degrees for ideological reasons, are essentially still victims of said government. Either due to government incompetence, political malice or just plain apathy. I'm sure 99% of New Yorkers would love for their city not to be a memetic shithole, but even if a mayor who really wanted to fix shit got elected, the whole governmental machine has far too much inertia to be stopped or reversed like that.

Now that is interesting (much more so to me than ballots being delivered @4 am, etc.).

There's always a paper trail, I don't know the laws for AZ specifically, but if there was any fraud they can't hide it indefinitely from auditors. I don't know of any party that's not full of cheating liars, so it's kind of important.

As to it being a cover up, I think Liz is attributing malice to something easily explained by regular stupidity and incompetence. Auditors should be able to note discrepencies between provided data and voter registration rolls; hopefully this was discovered by the auditors themselves (as that's their job).
Uh huh. So would you say them doing that is less of a problem than Dangerous Donald™ Trump?

This is boring. Stop being disingenuous and pretending to be neutral. We've seen others try it before and it's a bit too obvious now.

Another point... Trump getting elected can't be prevented from happening again. I'm thankful that he was an incompetent boob, but the really dangerous one coming in the (near?) future won't be so dumb. Well... hopefully, maybe I'm just an optimist.

My fav comments:

>"When you hear about mass executions in North Korea look at the bigger story they went from 59% of people supporting the supreme leader to 99%"
>"Sure someone stole your bike, but look at the bigger story. They now have a new bike."
>"What about Congress? They don't have to be vaccinated. Why not? 435 house 100 in Senate. Under the mandate, (100 employees). if you not jabbed, you get fired, So... can we fire Congress?"

There is a 'game' you can play when Biden publically speaks. Let's call it "Spot the Memory", the goal of the game is to figure out what exactly Biden's handlers had to dumb down the talking point to, so Biden could remember it on stage. In this case "Uuuuuuh, it's good more people in the workforce are vaccinated!"

He increases meme factory production every time he opens his maw so he has that going for him.

So buy shinies now?
I'm a silver man myself. Gold is too fucking expensive.
Gold is interesting. I had the good fortune of having Newmont Gold Company as a client several years ago. Got to go to their mining site in Elko, NV.

Of course, I expected to get in some little train or elevator and travel into a deep cave or deep hole in Mother Earth as that's the image of mining most of us have been presented. Not the case, not at all.

They mine microscopic gold. Literally tear down a whole mountain, crush it, and then rebuild it in a different place with drip lines throughout. Through the drip lines, they pump in a cyanide solution. The cyanide leaches the microscopic gold from the rock and flows into a collection pool near the base. That liquid is then run through steel wool and the gold bonds to the steel. Finally, they heat and burn off the steel wool and presto, pure gold.

It's a huge operation. as you can imagine. The sheer size of the area used, the amount of heavy equipment required, and the manpower to move mountains.

All quite fascinating. I talked at length with one of their engineers. First, about the cyanide -- doesn't it create a deadly toxic wasteland? Short answer, no. It's period of toxicity is quite short. They had air cannons around the collection pools to ward off birds and wildlife. The cyanide in the mountain becomes inert in a very short period of time. He pointed out one mountain. It was green with vegetation and you wouldn't have known it had been deconstructed and rebuilt. So environmentally, no harm, no foul.

Next, I asked about cost. At what price does gold have to be to actually make a profit, given the billions I see spent in doing this? At that point in time, his answer was $400 an ounce. Anything above, they were making money, anything below, they were losing money. (No idea what it would be today.)

It was all very interesting. So were the brothels in Elko. Gotta keep those miners in the middle of nowhere happy!

There was at least one tweet from some media thing covering it as "Biden taunters take over chanting at race"

Edit: I was a little off on both accounts as it was trending on twitter

Like it's honest but kind of playing games with the wording.
Imagine being a winning nascar driver and the one thing you're known for is being a way to euphemistically shit on Joe Biden.
Luckily the Trump Curse is powerful enough to cause a Democrat civil war so it will all work out in the end.
I'm sure 99% of New Yorkers would love for their city not to be a memetic shithole,
Only 27.6% do.

If most didn't want NYC to be a memetic shit hole, then why do they passionately support the policies and politicians that do? And if you oppose it, you get assaulted on the street? Let them eat shit with what they support. Let them get stabbed on the subway platform by some homeless guy or step on used AIDS needles. The only think I ask is for is it to be recorded and uploaded to the internet.

I know California is considered as being lost without the need for fuckery, and New York is probably the same.

But post November 2020 I always will have a little thought in the back of my mind every time I see a blue hellscape in a sea of red. "What if the poor fuckers in these blue shitholes aren't actually voting for this crap, and the rigging game is just so intrenched that there's no easy way to remove them?"

>Staten Island was red
Didn't expect that, Not only do you never hear anything good about SI, but I took the manhattan ferry there once and it looked just as bad, if not worse, as the other burrows.
What you said after the comma should have given you pause. The main reason that Staten Island is portrayed as bad is that it was fairly consistently the only red-leaning borough until recently.

It has seen an influx of Chinese and minorities, however, and as a result its R-voting character has diluted.

It's a very ecologically-conscious area in the vein of Teddy Roosevelt, funny enough, despite being a glorified landfill.

That is something to wonder 🤔

I imagine what the rest of the city is doing to Staten Island is a microcosm of what the city is doing to the rest of the state.

That's sort of right. It's pretty consistently ignored and denigrated because of its R-lean, from what I understand. I believe the term is "the forgotten borough."

That might change as it becomes more D as a result of immigration. It has a very large amount of parkland, which it is pretty good about defending.

Check point 3. "There's a lack of diversity."

They are I live in upstate New York and in my county the citidiots (that's what we call them up here) have been kicking out locals for a couple of years now and are trying to change the city of Hudson to fit more with what they are use too. Which is why everyone hates them because they are doing things they claim to have left the city for.

Biden contradicts his own CDC by claiming that vaccinated people cannot transmit COVID.

"We're making sure healthcare workers are vaccinated because if you seek care at a healthcare facility, you should have the certainty that the people providing that care are protected from COVID and cannot spread it to you."

Meanwhile, six days ago, Rochelle Walensky said on CNN that vaccines "can't prevent transmission".

Oh, so the same "Asian Invasion" that's been happening everywhere else in NY... got it.

I can sympathize. I used to live in Flushing Queens and before i moved it used to look nice until the Chinese got their hands on it and turned it into a cluttered congested mess with shitty looking buildings.

It really is quite terrible. I've been to multiple former Italian parts of NYC that have been taken over by the Chinese. I'd say the worst part is always the smell. I'm not sure how to describe it.
