I Did a quick scan through his back catalog and just the videos explicitly in the title and thumbnails mentioning SJW's and SJW related topics add up to 40 million views. Remember that it was his videos like this, reaction ranting videos, that helped build his career and pave the way to Los Angeles. He built his original audience on these videos. The buzzfeed and MTV videos are some of the highest viewed on his channel. When it went out of vouge to make reaction SJW videos he denounced it as attracting "alt-right weirdos" to his audience and something he grew up from. So I go to healthy at every size video (which I was amazed was still up) and they still have fucking ads running on them. He is still profiting from the videos he claims he is ideologically opposed to. 2021 Ethan is the exact type of person who would parrot the anti-sjw to real life nazi extremist theory. This led to me comparing the metrics on his main and podcast channels and its pretty interesting. It really shows how much he's lost relevance over the years. If you look at his main channel videos all of the most viewed videos are from 4-5 years ago for the most part. He may have uploaded less, but those new uploads don't get the same attention. His podcast channel never hits the level of views his main channel did in its prime, and almost all of it that comes close are the original episodes featuring big creators, and frenemies.



Ethan may have more money now but its due to sponsors and frequent low effort podcasting. His old content was much more popular and influential. If Ethan was at all genuine he's turned into the exact type of person he would mock. I don't know if he was a grifting snake all along, or if LA poisoned him, but the contrast is blatant.

As fun as it is to dunk on Catholic priests, back when this was studied, around 2% of them faced accusations of sexual assault. But you also have to figure that a podcast means more ads placed, he is keeping millions of people sitting there for a podcast, sure 24 million views is slick but the amount of work was way higher and you know some of these got flagged for no monetization (especially after 201.
