this is a bit simplistic. there are numerous reasons women don’t purchase sex, including a lack of culture around women buying sex, and less disposable income than men have on average.

as for women being able to get sex anytime anywhere… not really true. women also weigh up considerations between hooking up with any old rando, and directing a curated experience they have more control of. apprehension around purchasing sex means they may just decide up do without. there are many women in the world who don’t feel able to attract the men they desire and who therefore might be inclined to secure a sex worker for physical contact - but that isn’t going to do anything to address their sense of loneliness and undesirability, and women tend to sense this in a way men don’t. lonely men have the strangest habit of hiring sex workers with the hope authentic connection will result. women tend to not be under the same delusions.

On twitter, you can find a thread that compares AGP to addiction and reading this, I was strongly reminded of a few passages because this really looks like the end stage of the addiction.
