I watched a movie about the Cuban Missile Crisis last night (13 Days.... it's really good) and started thinking about what would've happened if Biden had been the President then instead of JFK.

I wasn't around for the 60's but my understanding is that JFK and his team were pretty competent people and even they got a lot wrong. For almost two weeks, we stood on the precipice of global annihilation and we managed to step away from it (barely).

If this batch of clowns had been in charge, I wouldn't exist because my parents would've been just smoke and ash.

I didn't like Obama and he did a lot of things that hurt my career directly (left the offshore industry because of his Moratorium) but I'm a pretty adaptable guy and I build my finances to be able to weather a storm (you kinda have to in my line of work). However, if we found ourselves in a situation where things might go nuclear, I think, for all my disagreements with the man (of which there were many), Obama and his team could've handled it.

I'd like to think that I can weather whatever economic hardships come with Biden's bullshit. However, it's obvious to anyone watching that Biden has lost, at least, a couple steps and if he was our grandfather, we'd be having serious conversations about whether or not we need to take away the keys to the Lincoln. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a Towncar, he has the keys to a massive nuclear stockpile and the most capable military in the world and it terrifies me that he's the one in charge.

The Democrats basically went scorched earth to depose Trump and were left with nothing. EVERYONE knows that they stole the election, half don't care because their side won and the other half are furious as fuck and won't forget or forgive.

And the half that don't care? A decent number of them basically are now QUICKLY having massive buyers remorse and the other half want to double down on cheating going forward because they wholesale believe that the masses are too fucking "stupid" to "vote the way we tell them to vote", effectively showing that they are the true Nazis and want to make it IMPOSSIBLE to vote the Demorats out of power ever again.

Rigging the election against Trump basically was a short term "victory" that fell apart IMMEDIATELY. ESPECIALLY since Trump is still alive and well and barring the DNC and the (((elites))) having him killed in the next three years, is going to be running for re-election in 2024. Not to mention that 2022 is going to be a potential bloodbath for the Democrats, who historically sleep late and don't bother with non-Presidential year elections; made worse by the fact that Biden's most likely NOT going to get anything "big" done legislation-wise and God fucking help him if another Supreme Court Justice drops dead on his watch.

And even if they DO murder Trump, they'll just be making him a martyr and bring about someone who WON'T play nice like Trump did (to his detriment).

Because right now, the nation is held together with duct tape and superglue because deep down, EVERYONE knows that when Civil War finally gets called to begin, our collective way of life is over. And the fear of the loss of the ability to chill and Netflix, let alone internet in general and especially basic things like electricity and food keep us from just fighting it out last man standing to settle the disintegration of America once and for all. And the Democrats keep pushing shit, because in some macabre way, they'd rather actually HAVE a civil war and risk everything for a chance to MAYBE win it, because with every passing day, they know that the moment the GOP takes power again, there will be a reckoning of epic proportions and they'd rather bait the right to start a civil war so they can claim afterwards, justification to wipe out the right in the event they win (presumably with outside foreign help).

Reading these tweets of people claiming to have watched the Maricopa audit hearing while simultaneously claiming no evidence was found makes it feel like I'm the only person that actually did watch it. One thing we saw in GamerGate is the radical left always, absolutely always, overestimates the amount of support they have. It's like clockwork. The issue is that by all means, Biden's way past the point where he's able to actually be in charge. We are really looking at a Wizard of Oz illusion, ignoring those in the booth.

All of the recent policy failures are likely due to his team, whatever Obama hangovers are still there, and the state office, which makes it far more ominous.

I think instead of a 'bad' president, we need to seriously consider that the entire head of the fish in DC has started to stink in terms of competence.

The thing about Burgs is that there's lots of great ways to make and enjoy them, and new ways are discovered all the time. Anyone trying to go with some big shit-show of slathering them in sauces is (mostly) missing the point, they're sandwiches and they need to be crafted as such, with complimentary flavors and ingredients. Get them right, and you have some great eats.

There's good breakfast burgs (my gramps was big on a burg with cheese, an egg, and a small amount of hollandaise sauce on a bagel), good unorthodox burgs (Mushroom gravy and sauteed onions with a burg on a thick roll with provolone) to the classics (Bun, cheese, optional veggies, Burg, optional seasonings, optional fixins, EAT).

What I've always found fascinating as someone who travels a lot is that in NY, the only standard condiment on burger joint burgs is ketchup. Anything else on a burg is strictly a sandwich-by-sandwich basis (for example, a Garlic Burger with Garlic Sauce). However, outside NY, fast food joints also put mustard on their burgs. Absolutely bizarre.
