That's the argument I'd assume Vic would make if he gets a favorable appeal, and on its face it makes sense.

Unfortunately that thing about the soundboard may be true. Vic's anime matsuri panel in 2019 was streamed on matsuri's YouTube and you could barely hear the crowd at all. But when you look at videos that others shot in the crowd, different story.

That being said she still asked for more cheers and they weren't there to see just her. They were there for Dragonball news. To try to make that crowd size just for her is really pushing it.

However Vic can pull in that crowd size and did at anime matsuri this year

If people were there to see Monica, why wasn't she promoted as a guest in the events leading up to NYCC and why wasn't her name used on the sponsors? Why is it that no one had no clue she would be there until the day she appeared on stage? And how can you say Monica packed a crowd when she specifically asked fans to cheer her?
