it will swing back inevitably whether people want or not because at some point the system has stagnated so much it becomes unsustainable and people need to eat. won't be tomorrow, won't be next year, but eventually it's gonna happen one way or another.
same way violence is inevitable at that point, because it doesn't take much for a guy to go on a rampage when he sees his kids starve, at that point society or civility doesn't really matter anymore.
you're underestimating normies/white people/whatever. sure they're dumb due to their size (the larger the group the dumber it gets) and slow to react, but what that means you essentially got a mob, which most of the time gets appeased by food (bread) and entertainment (circuses). take that away and see what happens.
don't forget the worse shit gets the more primed people are for a "fix", even more so when someone shows up to promise exactly that. what's an ethnic cleansing or two when it will make everything better and restore food and entertainment? and the worst part? it will work - for a while, till the pendulum swings back again...
the pendulum swings more than a few decades.
Usually I heard pendulum swign to imply a return to a previous position just more extreme, but how this sounds would just be a unhinged chaotic meltdown of the system leading to a counter revolution. I'm not against that personally, but it's possible though I think normies are still cowards and will remain that way.
Here's the thing, we won't know who it will be until it really begins to happen. It'll be someone outside the normal political sphere by necessity, someone who can claim that as an outsider they can right the boat so long as you surrender your freedom to him. It will happen quickly, suddenly, a handful of years at most. All it takes is for the general populace to desire an end to the chaos more than they desire their personal freedom.
Exactly, if such a thing occurs it could be any oddball. Writers used to describe people like that as "a spirit ahead of their time." Someone that seems out of place, or "abnormal." in a sense, people feel differently about them. usually people only notice the weird way they are but have no ability to reason why they sense that about them. Hitler, and many famous people throughout history have had some descriptions like tha.t
This is simply not true anymore. Everyone thinks everyone else is evil.
Most think, but some know for certain some groups are evil.
I find myself asking whether or not everything going on is due to malicious intent, sheer incompetence or a combination of both.
It's irrelevant evil people pretend to be dumb all the time. It's how they get sympathy or let off for their intentions. On an aside, when working in corporations often times people get so lazy and complacent they cause the downfall of the company, whether it's purposeful or stupidity they still get fired for their actions (or lack of).
I don't belive that. Recently my grandfather's brother came to town and their sister's Democrat leanings were mentioned (see out of the four siblings two boys and two girls, she's the only Democrat out of them). Also her daughter is more conservative leaning as well. But we all still love her. I doubt they view their sister as evil, sounds like they just view her as native than anything.
Edit: also when I hear stories about my Great grandfather who passed away before I was borning. I wish I had ment him he sounded like one red pilled and based man. My grandfather said he totally would have been a Trump guy.
You might also have someone adopting democrat views but may not even be a democrat. True democrats though are pretty malicious no matter how people argue otherwise. My only remaining democrat friend is the only one who apologizes for being fooled by the party all the time. Someone trying to make penance with their mistake.
I no longer think leftists are naive. I think they are an endemic threat to my way of life and should be liquidated en mass.
Ten years ago I wouldn't be able to type that with a straight face ....but now?
13 years ago ti was different so I can understand the mistake despite some of us warning everyone. It's similar to 'nobody expects it."
Same. I never viewed any of my liberal friends as evil. Just native (sometimes not even aware of certain things).
Well people like Pelosi or the people behide CNN I view as evil pricks
They might have been those people adopting the "liberal/democrat" title because "democrats are smarter than conservative" polls. which is why so many people joined them based on fudged science.
Hitler wasn't outside the normal political sphere of Weimar; he was opposed to it and actively working to subvert it but very much part of it. And electoral politics in Weimar were very different from ours anyway.
It's fun to say "and then one day, for no reason at all..." but how do you reconcile this with all your talk of political capital? Hitler is nothing without his party. The real threat is never one man but a group working together for common ideological goals.
yeah and I'm saying that isn't remotely possible in the US in the 21st century for someone on the right coming in to restore order. The kind of organizing that the NSDAP was able to do even under duress is impossible now, just like the kind of organizing that the american revolutionaries did in the time leading up to the actual shooting at Brits is impossible now. And not just for surveillance reasons - anyone like AOC is immediately co-opted. She's not hanging around in the Bronx creating a new party. She was an outsider for like 5 minutes.
You're kind of saying a bunch of things here that don't make sense. Like "they haven't really been considered, their message hasn't been analyzed - " how does that apply to Hitler and fascist ideology? All the European security apparatuses of the time were analyzing the fuck out of any and all potential threats to the state and had been since the lead up to WWI with all the anarchist assassinations. It's ok to admit you don't actually know very much about the era.
who it applies to imo is Mexicans
Two parts: First off, Hitler didn't even come up with his ideas or believe he could help change Germany until a few events changed his mindset and made him have a more unwavering faith in his own mind. Which other people saw as charisma and got behind him because he was in essence a "leader." Most people never expected he'd become a threat to the world this is what people mean when they say he wasn't a general part of the normal system, he was an unexpected outcome of the events in Weimar.
It is remotely possible, and it will happen again. It doesn't have to be someone right leaning, it only has to be someone able to mesmerize people. See a lot of people depict that about Hitler, his words almost hypnotized people who listened to him because of his fervent conviction and his self-belief. It is a very powerful effect on the masses subconsciously when people appear like that.
The message applies to Hitler and the fascist, because even when Hitler made the book "Mein Kampf" which was handed out to everyone, most people thought he was joking despite his claims and voted for him leading him to power which then led the perfect storm of Nazi Germany. Make no mistake the same WILL happen again and by someone you wouldn't expect. Could even as jokingly as it may sound be someone from this vary site or someone you personally know and could never see in such a position. No one predicts someone who will make a massive splurge in history until it just one day goes down. I doubt many believed Hitler would lead to the Holocaust if you take the official narrative of history and yet he did.
It's not that he doesn't know much about the era, it's more you're trying to hard to make a simple rationalization as of how he came to power and was able to pull off such acts and get that far by doing so. I won't argue that it's fate-bound, but sometimes it's almost like some people literally oppose the very common sense of the world to commit the acts and attrocities that they do. Often times unopposed despite what they claim they will do, and it WILL happen again. A lot of people when reading about the grandiose rise to power many historical figures have taken think it's merely a way to play up how they came into those positions or create an air of mystery. Some people in a literal sense do defy the common sense of our world and rise above it, which is why they are well known while many of their followers are not. Why most will never change history but merely sit and observe it playing out around them.
