The two aren't related at all. I was merely relating my own experiences as it relates to anti vaxxers, of which I am not one. The primary reason I'm not yet getting a covid vaccine is the same reason Ive never had a flu shot. I haven't had anything stronger than a mild head cold since my mid 20s. And, with my luck, I'd be the one to experience any and all negative side effects. I'm confident in my immune system. To the post you quoted however, this is when my mistrust began.

In short, 100% means 100 out of 100, 1000 out of 1000 and so on.
0.3% means 0.3 out of 100, 3 out of 1000 and so on.
So, 0.3% means 3 people out of every 1000 are affected.
That's 3/1000, 0.003 in decimal notation.

You would rather take your chances instead of ensuring nothing bad would happen because you never had a bad experience with the flu? I'm sure the other unvaccinated people that were either killed or suffered long term negative side effects from covid were also confident in their immune system.

Good on you for being able to get through your previous sicknesses with little problems, but COVID is unpredictable with how it affects people and you'd never know.

They want to teach American Exceptionalism in schools and I don’t get how they can push that with a straight face after the last two years.

I love how he got an actual answer about diet and promptly ignored all the refined sugars we eat now compared to 100 years ago...

Or hell the agricultural revolution alone made human teeth worse compared to hunter-gatherer periods to the point where archeologists can identify whether skeletons were from agricultural or hunter-gatherer tribes just by looking at the teeth...

Or that people did clean their teeth, they just didn't usually have toothbrushes...

Or that you can easily find pictures of animals with cavities...

I'm a little terrified if this one is not a troll, damn. I knew one guy who basically used the same reasoning to only shower once a year so I can believe it.

The negative side effects are from the spike protein, which you'd get if you were infected with covid yourself. Only covid itself has a lot higher rates of complications than the vaccine.

So you're afraid to leave the room that's on fire because you might get burned on the way out

After reading other threads here on the farms discussing COVID, i'm fully convinced the average kiwi not only refuses the jab, not only refuses the covid test, not only refuses to wear a mask, i'm convinced a good chunk of kiwis don't even wash their hands.

There seems to be so little difference between a kiwi and your average redditor/flatearther/antivaxxer/lolcow, it is kind of scary to be honest.
