Femoid here, partially. The real problem for me and other women is the skinwalking: imagine a giant 9ft tall monster clown cosplaying as you, but incredibly shitty. They are horrifying on a visceral level, yes. As men, the trancheros are ugly but lord knows plenty of ugly men can find stable relationships with a good personality or money. Then, some people really exaggerate their suffering, or even totally fake it.
This behaviour can be opportunistic, like a kid faking an illness to skip school, or more recurrent, like faking chronic pain to get a painkiller prescription. And ultimately, it can evolve into a lifestyle where the goal can be to achieve total emotional and physical dependency, leading to a mother/child-like relationship.

All those label-collecting troons always made me think of that. Seeking secondary benefits, of course without having the primary inconveniences.
They could maybe solve their egotism-related problems, but of course that would involve making actual efforts, so it's easier to be a quirky plural borderline bipolar transsexual weirdo instead.
