This is good to hear. I trust the smaller elections as a better forecast of 2022 than something like California

Fraternal order of police is resisting. they must report vax status by the 15th. if not vax they must get the test twice a week at their own expense and off the clock. on the 31st the vaccine is mandatory. The union president is putting himself on no pay status on the 15th. the officers also lose all insurance and they will be uneligible for unemployment as the city says their reqs are "optional" The FOP estimates 50% of officers are not vaccinated at this time. One officer stated that he heard that they will try to force them to work without pay but i dont see that happening. there is no news on this right now as far as i know just posts on various forums.

Chicago teachers only have to get tested once a week and the city pays all expenses. no threat of withholding wages.

This happened during last year's elections so it got overlooked. There's 4 House seats in Iowa, before 2020 3 of them were Democrat but now only 1 is.

welp got the word today. vaccine mandate at work has been announced and I have until Dec 8th to be fully vaccinated or face termination. I'm not vaccinated and I don't think a boomer on the other side of the country should be able to force it upon me, so I guess I'm gonna have an exxxtra-long Christmas vacation this year

I do as well, especially when it comes to more purple districts, but seeing a diehard blue district flip red is a good sign, especially coupled with the Texas district that had been Democrat for 30+ years flipping red and the McAllen, Texas flipping red.

Because they're playing chicken and trying to get some sort of consideration for it now. Meanwhile, over a hundred cops have died of COVID, making it the deadliest threat to police officers over the last couple of years. No one knows how many have been put on sick leave or medically retired.
