Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

573 "Democrats/Democratic-leaning independents" and 423 "Republicans/Republican-leaning independents" are listed alongside some of the questions they asked in the survey.

57.3% Democrat, 42.3% Republican with a 0.4% leftover. I think that makes this a D+15 poll, correct?

Progressives are super pissy that Manchin and Simena basically have routed them to the point that the progressives have zero fucking power and leverage to bully Biden to do their bidding, since while they have a huge power base in the House, the Senate HINGES on the Democrats voting in lockstep to get Harris to break the tie and Manchin and Simena can fuck up EVERYTHING by refusing to vote for Biden's bullshit.

The fact that Biden is acknowledging that power only exists for the Democrats so long as Manchin/Simena are kept happy, has the Progressives LIVID since that means Bernie can't do what Manchin/Simena are doing and extort Biden to pass the Antisemite Cunt Squad's wish list sight unseen.

More like they have a buffet of options (various forms of assassination be it false flag or murdering him and saying natural causes did him in, impeachment, 25th Amendment) but Harris is both too politically toxic and aware that she's going to be made into the Judas Goat for Biden's bullshit, that she doesn't want to be President anymore and is hiding in desperate hopes she can step down in 2024 and pray she can get her Senate seat back afterwords.

Their Majority in the house is also very slim and could run into the same problems they already face in in senate...

Back on topic to this, Iowa is truly Trump red. That's why Grassley kept his mouth shut, and why if the 2024 primary was rigged for anyone else, this state would probably go from safe to lean/tilt (depends on the level of GOPe).

Either way, that Saturday rally really helped cement the blowout.

Yeah, but that doesnt mean that there are enough blue dogs to kill any bill in the congress, it just means that Progs have enough votes to torpedo bills. they have the same power in the senate, Bernie alone can do it.

Bernie doesn't dare do it in the senate right now. If he were to try to, it would create a war within the senate which McConnel could capitalize on by then cozying up to the Blue Dogs to push his own agenda. So Bernie is forced to vote 'party line' lest the Blue Dogs get tempted towards the other side, which is the last thing any of the Dems want.

In the house though, the Blue Dogs are few are far between, they don't have the numbers despite how slim the majority is. The Progs do, though.
