Most Nickers (although I can't recall much Groyper avis being weebs too) I see on Twitter or on YouTube are weebs and a good chunk of rw Twitter is as well. If it's one thing that stays constant with rw Twitter, you can't remove weebs from the equation, simple as. No matter what, I've seen it since 2015 with the MAGA hype all the way to NazBols to the TradCaths communities, weebs are always going to exist in every movement.

I can't count how many times I haven't seen the Vatican flag emoji paired up with a anime avi (usually from some slice of life show) so the shit show from this is gonna be a treat. Would only be more funnier if it was Nick who said it rather than a mere lieutenant like Beardson.

Though, it's kinda weird he has the video delisted. Damage control?

I don't really care for anime avis or anime and weeb culture in general. I'm not really the biggest fan of anime anyways, so I really couldn't care less about what Beardson or Franssen thinks, but I know a lot of Nickers are so it'll still be a treat for the lulz.

Already, I know when Franssen tweeted about how anime is gay, a lot of Nickers or Nick-adjacent fans complained it in and I think Franssen after had to pull out the 'durr I was just pretending' card.

I think the anime countersignaling by the groyper generals is to distance AF from the catboy stuff.

Catgirls are a japanese thing, obviously. More recently you have characters like Astolfo, the titular catboy, from the Fate series, which is weeb shit btw. So basically if you like anime you are bad optics because nick's lover, catboy kami, has anime posters on his wall.
