So 2200 cases today, nearly 90% of the population have been vaxxed according to official numbers.
This is in the middle of a hard lockdown.
Peak infection with no lockdown or vaccines would be 5000 cases a day.
Not to worry as the government assures us that 90% of cases are among the unvaccinated. Which doesn't make any sense (there aren't nearly enough unvaxxed to account for these numbers) but don't think too hard about it.

Canberra, the capital city, has 99% of adults vaccinated.

The situation in Italy is getting out of control. We're about to get fucked more than ever: electricity and heating gas bills are projected to rise by around 40%. Staple food (flour, milk, eggs, meat and cheese) by 20%. The government (or whatever the EU allows us to run by ourselves) here is discussing a nationwide plan to recalculate the square meter/euro parameters of residential buildings, which according to independent sources would cause an increase of all residential rents between 50 and 100% within the next 5 to 10 years, same for housing ownership taxation. Yes these are correct numbers, I double checked myself.

Oh and national compulsory green pass (aka get your triple shots or don't get paid but don't worry we won't fire you yet because that would be against the constitution) and mask mandate anywhere public and indoor.

Earlier this week, anarchists (whoops, I meant fascist/racist/nazis and white supremacists, even the ones waving hammer and sickle flags) ransacked the national headquarters of a major union in downtown Rome, causing another wave of such propaganda that would make American media blush like a Japanese schoolgirl in a manga involving tentacles (said union prostituted itself for two decades to the Left and its corporation thralls, but let's not mention that anywhere).

What can I say, bleak times ahead. Here at Puerto Pollo's home we've already tuned down heating- Italy is currently experiencing the coldest autumn in years- from 20 to 18 degrees, everyone in the house is wearing hoodies and thermal shirts, sleeping all dressed up in bed, turned off all non essential lights.

I'm also aggressively hunting discount stores promotions for whatever is discounted, haven't renewed my public transportation pass and gave up on signing at a gym...and we're barely scraping by. One bill higher than usual and we'll have to cut fancy foods like ground beef and canned tuna. Already switched from fresh to UHT milk and filled the garage with 5kg boxes of flour, potatoes and dried cereals for a bit of peace of mind.

I'm very concerned about the future and my family is moderately well-off compared to the average Italian household. I can't even conceive how "normal", lower-middle class people will manage to get through this. My formerly ethnically homogenous, wealthy Italian city is becoming more and more like a neighborhood of Los Angeles.

What's even going on in poor regions of Southern Italy? Or Eastern Europe? And why are we still taking thousands of Africans, Pakistani and whatever the third world is regurgitating on us? They even refused the fucking vaccine.

The draconian population control measures are obviously to stop civil unrest when the country tips into an economic depression.

I really try my best not to stew inside my own echo chambers (as I accuse the left of doing so often) but despite a solid effort I was unable to get even halfway through the episode with this faggot. He told some obviously bullshit story about a 70 year old HVAC guy who asked him if he should get the vaccine after fixing his AC. According to Gupta the guy was hesitant because of blood clots, but was now considering getting the jab anyway because his daughter died the week before and asked him to get it while on her deathbed.

What a weird coincidence, please see my other posts in this thread for the most context (although I feel like I will have to elaborate here regardless), but my coworker has been out of work for 2 months fighting some kind of mysterious intestinal inflammation. Mid forties, Moderna shots earlier this year, overweight but not a total deathfat. Anyway the doctors were baffled, she's seen at least 20 of em, and with them initially treating for Chrohn's and to try to help settle some of the inflammation and infection. She developed Bell's palsy, liver enzymes are still really high, lymph nodes swollen, probably more I don't know about. Either way, her mom died of sarcoidosis of the lungs before covid came to town, so now they are testing her colon and liver for this, thinking it's inherited. But maybe her likelihood of inheriting it was already high and the vax triggered it.

But I'm sure it's all a coincidence.

The LNPs (lipid nanoparticles) used in the mRNA shots are highly inflammatory locally (ie the deltoid; the site of injection) and systemically (ie throughout the body).

Intradermal injection of these LNPs(in lab mice) led to rapid and robust inflammatory responses, characterized by massive neutrophil infiltration, activation of diverse inflammatory pathways, and production of various inflammatory cytokines and chemokines. The same dose of LNP delivered intranasally led to similar inflammatory responses in the lung and resulted in a high mortality rate.

The side effects observed with the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine’s first dose are likely associated with the LNPs’ inflammatory properties. LNPs activate different inflammatory pathways that will lead to the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1β and IL-6 that can initiate and sustain local and systemic inflammations and side effects. LNPs might also diffuse from the periphery and reach any organs in the body, including CNS (hypothalamus) where they could directly induce side effects (dashed line). PEG is widely used as a food and medicine additive, and many of us develop antibodies to PEG. Therefore, the LNPs’ PEGylated lipids can induce CARPA (complement activation-related pseudoallergy) in humans with preexisting PEG-specific antibodies. Humans often experience more severe side effects with the second dose. Here we posit that might be due to multiple reasons. Firstly, innate immune memory against the LNPs might form after the first vaccination, and that could lead to even more robust inflammatory responses upon the second vaccination. Secondly, after the first vaccination adaptive immune responses are formed targeting the viral protein coded by the mRNA. As such, cells (shown as red shape) expressing the viral protein derived peptides or protein itself can become the target of CD8+ T or NK cell-mediated killing (ADCC), respectively. Since the LNPs could diffuse throughout the body and transfect any cell in their path with the mRNA, and the mRNA could also be further distributed through extracellular vesicles (Maugeri et al., 2019), the target population could potentially be vast and diverse.

The Moderna and Pfizer shots are poison. The mRNA component has potential long term effects that have yet to be seen. The LNPs component are guaranteed to cause tons of inflammation that seems to get worse with each booster.

- Hospital she works at has never been overwhelmed this entire pandemic.
- Majority of her patients are not in there for covid. They are double vaxxed and she thinks they are suffering from vaccine side effects. Lots of heart attacks and strokes. Some having low hemoglobin requiring blood products but no evidence of bleeding so she's guessing it's a vaccine side effect.
- AHS (Alberta Health Services) had plans to cut staff and freeze hiring but when the pandemic hit, they ended up hiring new staff for covid tests, etc. She believes the vaxx mandate will allow them to fire several employees who won't comply and the system will continue to crumble. Sick and aging boomers are doomed if they can't be attended to.
