This is how Phil handles everything, he says "you guys wanted this" so if it goes to shit he has someone to point his gouty finger at.

plumbing thing was a lie, got asked a question about it got really defensive. REALLY defensive, like not letting it go that one person asked and it's a big deal that people ask him "everyday" being "Stalkerish" and like the UTI just brushed it off as get to it while he gets to it. In a few months too many games to play and he can't afford it.

Actually I mentioned the other day that I had the same issue that Phil has and it was a "cartridge replacement" and was a couple hundred bucks. I called several plumbers. All considered it a non emergency and the fastest I got someone out was like 5 days later. He really should call them now to schedule it.

Also many of them do free estimates. Why doesn't he at least do that instead of playing the "it may be thousands of dollars" game other than to milk his audience?

He also said how the tub in his other bathroom, that they haven't been using, was clogged with "dirt" so was also unusable.

How can a tub become clogged if it isn't being used? Do they never clean that bathroom because they never use it? So it just becomes caked in dust and shit? Is that where Phil pours his left over grease and tomato sauce? I don't understand. When you clean your house, you clean your house. You don't just clean the 2 rooms that you actually use.

Its kinda standard knowledge that if you own a large house with multiple bathrooms, guest en-suites and maybe a sink in the utility room that you run the taps to stop this happening. I'd guess if the only thing down the drain is dust the plumber would think its their lucky day though.

He's probably quite right, shit breaks if its years old but its just another excuse / catastrophe for him to claim he needs money to fix. Mr glue a coat rack to the wall sure is qualified enough to give that $1000 estimate for a valve breaking off. I know plumbers are expensive, but I think everyone who isn't dented would tell that plumber to take a good hold of their plums and fuck off if they quoted them $1000 for a valve.

The beauty of the "tips war" is the fact that no one has an infinite amount of fun money to blow on Phil.

So even if Phil gets a bunch of nice juicy contributions one day, he isn't guaranteed them for the next few days.

Combine this with his ever growing spending habit, and Phil could make 2k one day and be out of the money the next morning.

Phil's business is pretty much dead and while he still is living comfortably it's all of the backs of like 6 whales.
