Question. Currently employees are striking against their employers, some of which are government, but some of which are private. The private companies don't necessarily want to lose their workforce, but are doing so to comply with OSHA.
My question is could the private employers allow their employees to disobey the mandate, if the employees sign a contract agreeing to pay any OSHA fines they get from not being vaccinated? This would pit the employees directly against the government instead of having the employer middle-man. Which I think would be politically advantageous to the employees if the government started to fine normal working citizens these ridiculous fines and start locking them up.
My question is if that's possible, and worth proposing to my employer.
