I'm not American and mountain dew is rarely seen here. I also tried it and thought it was a shitty lemonade kinda thing. I always thought he was playing up to the gamer stereotype with his mountain dew obsession. It was only when I found this thread on here I realised he is legit hooked on it. I can't believe he managed to break his WLS by being addicted to such a shit drink (I know he drinks other fizzy shit but MD seems to be his favourite).

I am 52, female, gamer, and disabled I quit caffeine about 6 years ago can not stand the taste now of Coke or pepsi or Mt Dew ( fyi it has I believe about double the caffeine as pepsi or coke) Most gamers I know drink energy drinks IE red bull and such not Mt Dew.
Major thing with WLS is (due to my disability we debated the surgery ) to get it you have to quit soda as it is very gassy and can cause major issues so the lard ass risked his life drinking that shite.
On a side note due to my disability it is mobility related I get horrific Migraines also have a traumatic brain injury so I mess up to in wording, sigh, but one of the things that help with migraines is caffeine so if my meds do not work I drink a can or 2 of a drink called Mellow Yellow it is Cokes version of Mt Dew prefer the cleaner citrus taste it is not over powered by the sugar syrup taste weird but it works.

I tried Mountain Dew once, and it is distgustingly sweet. Same with Dr. Pepper which is another favourite for People of Super Size. And I actually like soda. But Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper are both a hard never again. Which also makes me wonder, if they are even sweeter in the States, as there is the claim that everything in the States contains more sugar compared to Europe for example.

I'm fond of Dr Pepper every now and then (although I drink the zero ones). I think the coke thing is true - something like cane sugar vs. corn syrup? - but I'm not sure if mountain dew is the same. Either way, the sheer amount of it he drinks must have rotted his taste buds or something.
