phil went to a catholic school for both college and high school.
what are the odds he had to learn super basic Latin at some point?

Odds are pretty high for pig Latinphil went to a catholic school for both college and high school.

He said it was a prop for project 7, search ppg someone, I can't right now but everyone I bring this up I get rated into oblivion weirdly with no replies.Be real here....who has a realistic looking foot prop laying around within arms reach?
I get that it seems unnatural but again it's reaching to assume it's fake...
GL with that FillPhil is trying to memory hole the King of Hate moniker.
Phil once famously said that he can understand any language because he studied Latin and all languages are based of Latin.phil went to a catholic school for both college and high school.

Did he actually say that?! That’s got to be one of the most idiotic things he’s ever said, if true… and that’s saying something.Phil once famously said that he can understand any language because he studied Latin and all languages are based of Latin.
He then retconned this to he can't read or speak Latin.

There’s obviously languages that derived from Latin: Italian, French, Romanian, Spanish and Portuguese, among other smaller dialects but these are the major ones.
While knowing Latin does give context on Etymology, in no way, shape or form does it give you fluency in any of the Romance languages because… you know, languages actually evolve.
Pig latin, maybe.Phil once famously said that he can understand any language because he studied Latin and all languages are based of Latin.

RE his most useful school subjects:
I mean he isn't wrong when he says he's verbose. Being verbose means that you say more words than what is necessary. He is a master when it comes to bloviating for half an hour but ultimately saying nothing.RE his most useful school subjects:
"British Literature, why? A lot of people over the years have said, 'Phil, you're very verbose guy. It seems that when you're--you're doing a vlog, you're doing a stream, you can use language that alotta people don't use. It's like not common language but then yo- alotta the times we even think you're saying the wrong word, but then we look it up and realize it's correct. That you're actually using a word that is, you know, not a common word that people would use in--in normal dialect, spoken dialect, but you use these words, you're a very verbose g-- you have a big vocabulary. Where did you get your vocabulary from?'"
H-O-L-Y SHIT, this man is the universal epitome of delusion.

He used the wrong word in describing his expansive vocabulary. But you know, maybe we just like, need to look it up, you--because, Phil said, sometimes when they-- peepul look up the words he uses okay? And they're actually correct.I mean he isn't wrong when he says he's verbose. Being verbose means that you say more words than what is necessary. The funniest thing about that whole segment is he seems to think that reading Comics broadened his vocabulary more than 'British Literature' which defeats the entire point he was trying to make. Also, what does he even mean by 'British Literature'? I'm assuming Shakespeare? At school in the UK we don't even read that much Classical Literature because the language used is so far detached from Modern English; I spent more time on Of Mice and Men than I did on Macbeth.RE his most useful school subjects:

We don't have it as a standard class, it's mostly modern American stuff in regular school like Of Mice and Men and To Kill a Mockingbird like you said, and now more and more political propaganda as time goes on. However, there are plenty of AP, or advanced placement, classes for above average kids that would have specialty lit classes. Phil claims to have taken all AP classes. I still don't know if he's lying, he was smart and gin rotted his brain, or like a lot of AP kids, his parents severely coddled him and paid for tutors, helped with everything, etc. I seriously don't know which of those it is, but the third option seems likely as Phil has all of the qualities of that sort of coddled only child. The funniest thing about that whole segment is he seems to think that reading Comics broadened his vocabulary more than 'British Literature' which defeats the entire point he was trying to make. We confirmed he was actually valedictorian.
