So that means that would be 165 million. Now, not every one aged 0-39 caught covid, so let's say that the same percentage of people that got it is the same as the rest of the US. So, it'd be 12,000 / 49,500,000, which is 0.02%.

However, that's missing the whole point, which is that not everyone in the US is aged 0-39, or 0-19. You can't say that the death rate of a virus is the # of deaths of a particular demographic divided by the entire population. That isn't how it works. You need the denominator to be defined first, which in this case, would be the people aged 0-39 in the US who caught covid. Then, from the denominator, you take the numerator. So therefore, your comparison of the # of deaths aged 0-39 to the entire US population, not all of whom are aged 0-39 or have had covid, is laughably inept.
