As bad as it might be if you put a bit of time into creating nice textures for it you can probably get something decent done in like a day whereas Live2D requires you to first create the art, chop it into pieces and finally do the rigging which takes a shitload of time.

It's funny but back in the day, I considered Mario 64 to be more annoying than fun because of the controls. Then again, I'm not exactly fond of the fully 3D platformers and still prefer what is called 2.5D these days: basically 2D mechanics in 3D space, with camera on rails. Think Pandemonium! series or Klonoa.

It does sound a bit funny, and I'm all for going-your-way owning them haters by making it fun. But if she really think that the Honey shtick is something that she need to defend for the haters and even turning it up, well, that's on her. I think she could be great - I do like her voice and character design. I usually grab it fresh but last year's lockdown made people go nuts about hoarding bread in this area. Bread shortages in a bakery may sound like a pretty funny joke until you find yourself unable to get any. It's easier to just keep a modest reserve in the freezer.
It makes it fluffy again when you put it in the toaster, or if you're freaky enough, microwave it.

Honestly, I live in a hyper rural area so I do a lot of my shopping in bulk in a city a ways away from where I live because the local place charges twice the amount for that same loaf of bread. So I end up stocking up and tossing some of it in the freezer.
