I'm pretty sure the entire cat situation was Barb's doing. Whenever Chris says "we" he actually means Barb and Barb alone. He wants to come off as a responsible adult but I can't imagine the idea of calling animal control would even occur to Chris or that he even knew such a thing existed before this incident. Chris openly admitted in court that his Mother will be taking care of his court fees and during one of the Catie date he claims to have no idea how his insurance or social security works. I'm guessing Barb takes care of that for Chris too. Barb (with good reason) always deals with other people on Chris' behalf.

Destroying the jerkheif's life, leaving him a broken shell of a man with broken glasses and a divorce, for telling him not to be creepy.
Oh, I didn't realise we were including the actions of Comic Chris.

In that case I'd say wiping out the entire homosexual/asexual population against their will ranks fairly highly

Keep in mind, the worst manchildren tend to be the ones to start fights and let their parents finish them for them. These are the kids who never grow up and believe that mommy and daddy will always have their corner, even well into their thirties. He doesn't want to grow up and so long as he can run to mom he doesn't have to. They're mutually continuing this downward spiral of bad behavior. It is the worst possible combination of things.

Pretty much all the terrible things he's done, the way he treats others, his neglect of his pets and abuse of other animals (running over a snake for no reason and having someone's cat put down)...everything can be attributed to his being a shitty, lazy, stupid person. So I'm going to say the most terrible thing he's done is being a shitty, lazy, stupid person and not doing a damn thing to better himself.

This cat situation is pretty telling about how Chris thinks of his place in the world.

Chris presents the story in chronological order, but in his head, I'm sure it runs backwards. (Not literally.)

Chris thinks he is just trundling around the world, the innocent autistic translesbian. And lo and behold, this hateful asshole of a kid pops up, and this kid really deserved to have his cat killed. And as proof that he deserved to have his cat killed: look at all the mean stuff he and his snake charmer granddad did afterwards!

Edit: And Chris didn't really try that hard at all to present the kid as being a dick before the animal control call. At best he just mentions the cat's claws. As if that was the first time Chris has ever dealt with cat claws.
His life is truly a video game.

It can't be 100% Barb. Chris would have had to tell the story to animal control, probably embellishing it to sound much worse than the tiny scratch it probably was. He also probably left out his own actions, and made it seem like the cat was the entire problem. The city wouldn't just go after some poor cat for no reason.

If the cat was truly aggressive, and caused some real damage, Chris might have said something about it in his post. He loves to talk about all the "hardship" he goes through... but instead he framed the whole incident as punishment for the neighbor kid being mean to him, which says it was probably not a very large injury that sent this cat to its grave. The cat was probably just minding its own business, was rightfully annoyed when a gigantic fat spurg started to pester it, then defended itself, as we all would in such a situation.

Heck, Chris probably got the cut from one of the Chandler cats, then blamed it on the neighbor's. Barb called animal control, then Chris made up the story to spite the neighbor kid for having better Pokemon cards or something.

Pretty much what everyone else is saying in this thread. And if it hasn't been added yet, I'd say proudly proclaiming his autism and using it as a crutch to avoid self improvement is right up there.

No, I'd say it's 100% Barb. If this actually happened, it was her who called animal control and she did all the legwork.

The annoying thing about the cat incident isn't that Chris decided that the kid deserved it, but that Barb spun the story to present that viewpoint to Chris and he accepts it 100%, without critique. We all know that Barb affects Chris' view of the world, but you never really realize how deeply it goes until shit like this.

This cat thing blows my mind, because even when it comes to something this shitty, Chris accepts Barb's version of the story 100%. If Barb tells Chris that someone is a bad guy, then that's the case. No debates, no discussion. Honestly, it makes me pity him. Barb's the cult leader and Chris loves her koolade.

This thread should have been what's the worst thing Barb ever did? She knows she can emotionally manipulate Christian and lie to him to warp his understanding of history and events in his life. She's not accidentally or ignorantly doing this either, she willingly does it. Which isn't that unheard of when it comes to CWC, but come on she's suppose to be his mother.

Oh yeah.

Like, Barb has done this before. After the whole Megan saga blew up, Chris didn't start hating Megan on his own. It actually developed pretty gradually. The Megan hate was largely fueled by Barb and Bob's conspiracy theories about her.

I bet Chris would've been blaming the trolls and just chalked up Megan ditching him on "misunderstandings" or "troll jerks" if he didn't have the conspiracy theories.

Dude don't lie to us everyone knows Megan and Snyder run the PVCC.

How about when he accused Snyder of being a child molester with absolutely no proof? This was in a YouTube video, sometime around the Calling Out Saga I think.

Two things come to mind:

* Chris accusing firefighters of stealing some allegedly valuable items from the hoard when they were just trying to put out the fire. Never mind they were risking their lives just doing their jobs.

* Chris proposing on a date with Catherine that he bring the beagles with them if they went bowling, and keeping them locked in a car for the entire date just because "they like being in the car!"
