2. Peetz is still in love with Chantal on some level. His depression started when she started looking for hookups on Tinder. Hanging out with her fuck buddy probably isn't his idea of a good time. My understanding is he didn't meet Bibi till Chantal and Bibi had broken up.
3. We only see what Chantal shows up. For all we know, Nader and Chantal are drugged out of their fucking minds while there and possibly fighting. If Nader is violent, Peetz might not want to get in the middle of that. Nader went to jail for stabbing people, I'd venture a guess Peetz doesn't want to be next.

No, Peetz's brother is caretaker for another deathfat. Their mother is in an assited living facility. She doesn't live with either of them.
