Why do people hate Chris Pratt so much? at some point he was just an ok actor but now people have some sort of weird out for him, I remember there was some weird ass petition to get him fired and to have someone else play peter quill, and the hate boner for him has gotten more amplified when he was announced as Mario.

The passive aggressive digs at him are really creepy too, it’s like they’re waiting for the perfect moment to sic themselves on him, seriously what did this guy do? drown their dog or some shit?

Probably because of his religion. Elliot Page went on a rampage against him for a while. I also remember Todd In The Shadows was flipping off a Jurassic World poster just because he was on the poster. It’s been said many times before, these people are fucking nuts.

White, male, successful, happy, care-free, rich, Christian, loves hunting. That's pretty much it.

A lot of SJW types had a crush on his character in Parks & Rec, then later Guardians of the Galaxy. Finding out the horror of who he is in real life was probably quite traumatic for them.

In other words they hate religion that is establishment but it’s ok when they worship a false idol of Saint fentanyl Floyd

Because he's Christian and conservative.

Hair discrimination should be designated as a form of racism, campaigners and MPs say

The campaign hopes that guidance from the government would take education a step further, making afro-textured hair a protected characteristic.
A group of MPs and campaigners have urged the equality watchdog to publish guidance that would designate hair discrimination as a form of racism.

A letter signed by Kim Johnson MP and backed by The Halo Collective and Glamour Magazine calls for textured hair to become a protected characteristic.

It hopes the guidance would raise awareness of hair discrimination cases in the UK and highlight it as a serious legal issue.

A person's hair can form a huge part of their identity, but campaigners fear that far too often, the hair on the heads of those from the African Diaspora is policed.

Hair discrimination can be using offensive words to describe a person's afro or asking to touch textured hair without consent.

In some of the worst examples, children have faced disciplinary action in school and professionals have lost out on work.

L'Myah Sharae, who founded the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Equality in Education, said: "Can you imagine being a child and being told that your hair was not suitable for an educational environment, it's just not acceptable.

"People feel they have to conform to mirror eurocentric hairstyles in order to progress in the workplace or within education and that is completely and utterly problematic."

Christine Emolome faced this first hand.

"My manager stopped me and he was like 'I don't think your hairstyle is fit for work today. It looks unprofessional, I am going to have to send you home'," recalls Ms Emolome, who was sent home from work without pay, because she decided to wear her natural locks.

"I was shocked. It wasn't something I felt the need to question, it was something I thought I should just be able to do," she added.

But others do question their styles.

Whether it's braids, dreadlocks, or a simple 'fro, many people believe the way they express themselves through their hair, may be used against them and fear they won't be considered "professional".

Anastasia Chikezie has been a natural hairstylist for 30 years.

She remembers a time she cut the dreadlocks off of a newly qualified lawyer, as he was "concerned he wouldn't be accepted."

World Afro Day founder Michelle De Leon says the event marks a global day of

"That used to disturb me deeply," she said.

"When taking corporate jobs, people are really concerned about the way they wear their hair."

Ms Chikezie now runs The Good Roots, a textured hair academy that offers education and style techniques.

She created the project as she realised there was a need for European stylists to learn about textured hair, which comes after new rules were introduced earlier in the year, requiring all UK hairdressers to be trained in afro-textured hair.

The organisers behind the letter hope that guidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission would take education one step further, making afro-textured hair a protected characteristic, so that reports of racial discrimination cases are taken seriously.

The letter reads: "The repeated failure to understand the issues affecting afro hair is a typical occurrence when dealing with a variety of institutions.

"The guidance will encourage educational and workplace establishments to rethink their concepts of 'professionalism' and work towards adopting more inclusive policies, which encourage and celebrate racial diversity."

It also hopes the UK government will adopt the guidance and work with other institutions to implement changes.

"We're hoping that the government reflects upon that and follow suit, and then also publishes official guidance via the Department for Education by the Department for Work and Pensions and by the government equalities office too," Ms Sharae said.

If you're asking to touch, isn't that conducive to consent?

The people who complain about "hair discrimination" don't realise that if I went to an interview with ratty dreadlocks I'd get turned away, and I'm so white I could get lost in a blizzard.

The church he goes to has a guy in the clergy who knows someone from a different church with a similar name who is outspoken against homosexuality. That's it. That's what caused the sudden flip, finding out the guy is Christian in his personal life. Made worse by the fact that he didn't appear in the DNC sponsored video that featured some of his MCU coworkers when he A) wasn't even invited to be in it and B) was in the middle of filming for Jurassic World 3 in a completely different part of the planet.

They would say that that is because you are wearing the hair of a black person, and in fact you not getting hired is racist. Not against you, but against black people. You're irrelevant to the situation

Ooh, Kim Johnson again. She's a rising star in the 'outspoken WOC MP' field. What does this fiercely proud Woman of Color look like? Well...

Is Rowling actually going around trying to exterminate troons now? If so then, that's pretty cool... but I don't think that's actually the case.

Always funny to me how troons act like TERFs are camped outside their front doors with an axe waiting for them to step outside, when in reality they're mostly writing whiny articles in publications no one reads.

It's because Chris Pratt is Pro-American. He supports the Second Amendment and the SJW's and Hollywood Leftist hates him for it. They also hates the fact that Chris Pratt is more popular than Chris Evans, or any other leftist actor. I haven't seen a movie Chris was in that I hated. Except Movie 43, never seen that movie and never will.

Yes give more reasons not to hire blackies because the legal liability they bring with them. I do feel bad but that's kinda what I recommend nowdays. Don't hire anyone too diverse unless you're very sure about their personality. The potential headache just isn't worth it especially in smaller companies.

Also I'm a white woman and ratty or messy looking hair doesn't fly for me either. My issues might be bit different do different textures but basics are the same. Hair do for most jobs needs to look clean, under control and not overly complicated, casual or desperate for attention. These aren't that hard to achieve regardless of texture. Blacks are completely able to have professional and nice looking head with their natural hair.

Over the past years, there seems to be a fetish among SJWs regarding black hair, that there needs to be exposure to natural hair in media and an apparent epidemic of white people always touching thier hair that they need make books out of it:

Nobody is touching your hair, quit throwing a pity party for yourself and get a job.

Thing is pretty much every hair complaint happens black to white too. I once was listening lecture of a lady that had been a teacher in Africa for multiple years. One point when she was talking about culture differences she told a story about how little girls really wanted to braid her hair. She had a pixie cut so said that braiding was impossible. The little girls were confused, they were used corky hair that can look really short but is much longer. Straight hair looking exactly how long it is was basically mind blowing new information to them.
