China's rise is part of the cause of the new age. A Europe ravaged by war, a slowly falling USSR eventually destroyed, this age has been the American Age, a century of America's rise to true international power and eventually it eclipsing all and becoming -the- global hegemon. But now other powers rise, and China is foremost among them. The next age will be the competition of superpowers once again, as historically has always occurred. Many competing nations eventually result in one gaining true dominance, eventually, decadence sets in and in an ugly process its global power is reduced aided by the rise of new major nations, this results once again in many nations competing. It is a cycle.
This is laughably inaccurate to the realities of China's place in the world. Case in point, the one child policy, now the three child policy for what little it matters. It's because of this reason that China cannot replace their labor force, and the labor force they do have is severely overworked to the point of lacking any social life. They also made the stupid decision to favor male babies over females, because "hurr durr men are superior" creating a massive surplus of men who can't procreate more men because there's no women. Their autistic micro-management of their own populace undid any dramatic rise to global power they could ever have hoped for, they are done.
Then there's the fact that China is rapidly returning to the ways of Mao Zedong under Xi Jinping's guidance, who hates free market capitalism for being anti-Maoist. Xi Jinping & the whole of the CCP have been so insidious, duplicitous, corrupt & now aggressive with everyone around them or trying to invest into their country that companies are pulling out en masse. This goes without mentioning that the mass purges & COVID shutdowns in China killed their business. This could all be excusable if China didn't become the expensive kid on the block with their rise to middle class. China was popular as the world's a lightbulb factory, now on top of all their other bullshit, they're too expensive for it. China is also now ripping off other countries with their Belt & Road initiative and that pisses everyone off. This also goes without mentioning that with the return to Maoism, China is going insular & militarily theatrical. Xi Jinping is now acting like Kim Jung Un.
Let us not forget that China is a suffocating surveillance state with no Free Speech whatsoever. Chinese people cannot air their grievances despite doing it all the time, their protests are just shut down so frequently you barely hear about them, but they do happen. This smothers whatever hope China has to become an innovative country, one of the key aspects of becoming a super power. If you can't speak freely then you can't think freely. People who can't think freely can't be inventive. They're robots who take instruction.
China's culture is one of systemic corruption of cronyism & bribery going back to the Qing dynasty. This preexisting culture of corruption goes hand in hand with communism like oil and fire. This means that everything in China is cheap shit from their ghost cities to their food to their military. Have you seen China's military hardware? Have you seen China's aircraft carriers?
That's not a runway, that's a skateboard ramp.
China's military hardware is such a victim of corruption that higher ups will sell the good materials they're assigned on the black market and replace it with cheaper metals. There's a story about how a running Jeep knockoff had the hood torn off by an Indian soldier hitting it with a crowbar as it sped by. All of China's military hardware are showpieces meant to be rattled & then put into storage. But that's just their hardware, can you guess what the mettle of their soldiers are? Spoiled only children from the one child policy who hate military drills & need therapy regularly. The top brass of the Chinese military are no better, and are in fact, arguably worse. They're the snakes who wormed their way to the top in a culture that hates merit. The only war China has ever been remotely successful in was in the Korean war, in which they threw nine million people at a wall of American guns to reclaim North Korea as the United States & allies began fighting their way into mainland China.
This was simply due to war of attrition, which could never be the winning strategy going forward not just because of technological & strategic reasons, but for the simple reason the one factor it worked in the first place has now been stifled by the one child policy.
Oh and there's that other little problem that Communist countries have, which is that they propagate a snitching culture, this one going back to the Cultural Revolution. This is another reason why China can never take the place of the United States as a global superpower, everyone is a rat with low trust. These people who hate & distrust each other are supposed to be united under one banner? Fat chance.
China is also a bloated country that redistributes its wealth, further contributing to their anti-meritocratic culture. The wealthy coastal provinces of China prop up the poor rural Western regions of China that don't produce anything partly because China won't let them because they're not an economic zone. Did I forget to mention the absolute retardation of having economic zones? The only good they do by having them is China gets to leverage them to keep their status as a developing nation, because they're actively incentivized to not develop the majority of their country to maintain this status. This is the reason it's cheaper to ship goods to China and back than have them made in-house, because they get massive discounts for being horribly inefficient.
Let's talk about that belt and road initiative that they're so proud of, China develops something for a nation that can't afford it & then take it back as collateral. Everyone assumed that once the Taliban resumed power in Afghanistan that the Taliban would become China's new proxy government & army, right? Wrong, the Taliban ripped them off to the tune of eighty some-odd billion dollars & refuse to fight on their behalf. And speaking of Muslims, that brings me to my second to last point.
China has active concentration camps for Uighur Muslims & disappearing political dissidents. These organ harvesting plants are where protestors go to when they get caught. The Chinese people are not only aware of this but hate the CCP with a passion & continue to find ways of protesting in small, ineffective methods that the CCP crack down on constantly.
China has effectively zero chance of ever becoming the new world superpower, not just because of the way they treat their own people but especially the way they bully outside nations, which brings me last point.
China is literally surrounded on all sides by major enemies who fucking loathe them. China has tried claiming territories from each of these nations to their ire. They have pissed off Russia & India. South Korea, Vietnam and Japan do not like them at all. Taiwan merely wants to go about its business but China keeps blowing smoke about taking them back. You know that meme about the United States becoming the next Ancient Rome? That is China, for the simple fact that the U.S. is not encircled by major enemies, but China is. This is the reason why China doesn't let go of its shittier Western provinces, because they're the buffer zone to protect Beijing & give them advance warning should an invasion ever occur.
China is inhabited by ret
ards and ret
arded leaders who could never reach the same level of world-wide success as the United States, simply because they're a backwards USSR
wannabe shithole.
