Jamie Lee Curtis‘ troon son got chubby and she is „a grateful student“. Locate your balls, Jamie!
Curtis' son is, famously, adopted. There's an undercurrent of identity crisis in adoptees that's really interesting because it kind of seems that a disproportionate amount of lolcows and trannies are adoptees.

1- Its because adopted kids go through mental trauma and tend to come from very abusive homes. Many of them are also born to drug addicted/alcoholic people who didn't stop consuming harmful substances during pregnancy. That definitely causes mental developmental problems.

2- Another hypothesis is that they don't have a sense of belonging and The Rat King is notorious for being all accepting. People go along with your delusions, pay your rent and fight the big bad bullies for you. All you'd have to do is Cry about it on twitter and sacrifice your future and chances of a normal life to the almighty rat-king.

I remember a thread in Deep Thoughts by NoReturn which talked about this particular issue.

Which I brought up how much trannyism in the West, and the way adoption works in America (not sure about European countries) are operating on the similar model that bureaucratic labelling is important than reality and everyone is trying delude themselves in a big 'Emperor's New Clothes' game, and so cognitive dissonance is the natural state. I'm sure that mental trauma from previous abusive homes may have contributed to it, but someone there mentioned how American adoptees seem to be particularly fucked up in term of identity issues. And I'd say that celebrity adoption is probably worse

So basically, the way adoption is viewed in America has a subtext of being a market for couples to buy children, instead of being JUST the way to give children who may have lost or separated by their parents a loving. An adopted child became a commodity that should suit the adoptive parents need and desires, and the bureaucratic illusion is employed to make sure that the image of a "perfect happy family" is intact. 'Traditional' American adoption seeks to severe any trace of the children to their truth, birth certificate can be changed, and how much it is presented as a shocking thing to be told if you were adopted. This law was actually rolled off to protect dignity of people who had bastard children back in the day, and it is in no way in favour of the children themselves.

And I do think adoption is sometimes presented as a way to signal that you're kind and saintly person. I'm not sure about Jamie Lee Curtis' case, but not so long ago or so it was popular for celebrities and rich people to 'interracially' (quotes because I don't think 'race' the way it is catgorised in America has any scientific truth in it, but it is a socially meaningful construct) adopt children from poor third world countries as moral signallers. Oftentimes these children were actually trafficked, or actually didn't lose their birth parents as they were advertised to cultural elites. Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron are the famous case of this (Jolie's Ethiopian adopted child was sold through the lie that her mother died, while she's actually alive. Theron's adopted son got trooned out.)

Just like troonism where everyone knows that someone is a man in dress even if they're 'legally female' and their would be no active documents to prove otherwise. Adoption is the same thing, I feel like many times children knows, or at least recognising that there's something off and not right about their parents, the way they raises them. Or their motives if they knew they were adopted. Even if they're not told, sometimes it feels like they're living a lie but the truth is better unspoken. The adopted children may know the truth but are still forced to act out lies due to social expectations. (Which I feel it is similar to when I talk about regretting self aware tranny)

Not to say that all adoptive parents are narcissists, but the way system works is enabling narcissists to overrun and create this certain messed up adoption culture.

Can confirm all of the above, being adopted can really suck. No idea on US practices though, guess I dodged that bullet. But if you‘re adopted and have identity issues and struggle with not knowing who you are you fucking learn to deal with it instead of latching onto the next best thing. I can definitely see how people who are momentarily struggling can get sucked into the cult, but this was already around when I had my big sads and I never felt compelled to question that part of me. Knowing who and what I am physically was probably the ONLY part that was 100% certain.
But I also heard a claim that a portion of the Dutch transitioners (the ROGD cohort) were Chinese adoptees. Pretty fucking sad to just continue the loop of mental struggle.

all these homosexuals I used to stan and now rapidly coming to absolutely despise… Hannah Gadsby, Jonathan Van Ness, even Dan Levy! not you, Dan! and I’m rapidly losing interest in Drag Race now it’s totally infested with troonery and has become the number one pipeline for gnc homosexual males trooning… wonder if the majority heterosexual female audience has something to do with it. 🤔 seriously.

the backlash is out of control ridiculous. thanks for pointing out the funny side @DemonicMustache cos this lunacy makes me cringe and mad. the spoiled narcissism on show IS gross.

TIFs tend to go for guys who are soft hearted and accommodating. not the kind who are good at setting boundaries.
Hannah Gadsby really disappointed me, i’ve always liked her. I guess since she was name-dropped, she had no choice but to swear fealty to the trans cult, or get the wall.

Am I being exceptional here or was Drag Race always tranny bait since day one? If anything this shit has been the cultural shitshow that's brought trannies and autogynephilia fetishists to the forefront and unintentionally paved the way for their degeneracy in public.
I don’t think so. Keep in mind that in Ru Paul’s day, troons were just HSTS “so gay they’re a girl” type trannies. They also had more of a sense of humor about themselves (for one: you could call them trannies), and Drag Race started out with a healthy dose of humor about crossdressing, gays, and men in drag (see the “You’ve got shemail!” and “shemale or female” segments). But somewhere within the last seven or eight years, the ultra-sensitive AGPs and genderspecials showed up, and complained about how anybody having a laugh at their expense was LiTeRaLlY kiLLiNg them, and now nobody can joke about anything. End of an era, i suppose…

Weren’t they just complaining about how having to look at themselves and other transwomen on zoom was horribly traumatizing to them? Why would they want to see themselves on screen lmao
They do know they can hide their own video feed, right? And why are they upset at seeing their brave and stunning co-workers? How can they even tell which ones are trans, since apparently there’s absolutely no difference between trans women and real women? You go out of your way to give them everything they demand, and they’ll still find something to be upset about.

No, AGP neo-trans hate RuPaul and drag in general. Ironically, they look at drag queens the way actual women look at them. Old-school, semi-based HSTS trans were the ones who were a foundational part of the modern drag scene from its late '60s origins, and most queens who are older than 30 still view trans people through that lens. These are people who know they are male and can take a joke about having a dick and a deep voice without abusing Game Stop displays.

You see more of the younger queens coming out as theys and shes because of the current cultural zeitgeist for young homosexuals, but the drag scene didn't originate it so much as offer a pastime for people most likely to be funneled towards that outcome.

The show itself had a pretty raunchy and abrasive tone towards trans people for its first few seasons, up to 2014 when they had the mini-challenge 'Female or She-male' and the wailing/gnashing of teeth got too hard to endure.

But never forget, RuPaul is the originator of 🚋 rights.

I hope the trains thing was on purpose. If it was, my hat’s off to you, Ru Paul.

Well, it's certainly brave, I'll give you that!
And maybe even stunning, if you weren't expecting it.

Cancel any troid visibility or awareness days. They are evil and instruments of the cishet patriarchy. Also fuck women of any kind, even the confused ones who LARP as men. „Amelia“ you are nobody‘s sex object, don‘t you worry. Searching for Transmisogyny-exempt or TME brings out the funniest screeching.

Poor Jamie Lee. She looks so dead inside.

The Rat King is notorious for being all accepting.
Until you disagree with him on any minor point. Then he’ll throw you to the wolves.

On the other hand 'traditional' American adoption seeks to severe any trace of the children to their truth,
It depends on what state you’re in. A lot of state governments are trying to do things like keep adopted biological siblings together, and most states operate on a drop-box system, where if both the child and biological parent are interested in meeting each other, they’ll release contact information so they can.

That's all new, though, and probably partly a result of activism by adult adoptees. Stuff like open adoption is very common these days now that people have started to recognize how harmful old-school adoption was for many adoptees, but back in the day the "legal fiction triumphs over reality" style was the norm.

Anyway, it just occurred to me that Margaret Atwood was canceled days ago and (unless I missed it) no one has pointed out that she is the originator of the quote that unintentionally describes a big chunk of the TRA movement: 'Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.' I have never particularly liked Atwood's work, but I do think about the quote a lot in the context of transwomen who constantly react to TERFs laughing at them like it is an annihilatory attack that merits retaliatory violence. They're just being shitty, shitty men.

The dinosaurs in Jurassic Park weren't trans. The plot point that matters is they switched sex from female to male and so were able to fertilise other females to reproduce, which is something that trans men can't do. The equivalent in Jurassic Park would be if the dinosaurs all remained female, but one of them displayed male dominance behaviours and then got impregnated with a turkey baster of male dinosaur sperm.

Jurassic Park was about some dinosaurs changing sex because they are not mammals and had been given amphibian DNA and also it is a science fiction movie where that sort of thing can happen. Dinosaurs cannot be trans, because they don't have a gender identity, because gender identity is a made-up idea that could only appear in a decaying late-capitalist society made up of sapient mammals. You, unlike amphibians and fictional dinosaurs, can never change sex. Cope and seethe about it.

Edit: I got ninja'd but whatever.

She could have just said nothing at all and been just fine. She could have told them to fuck off and still probably been fine. She bent the knee to troonery either because she's a coward or a true believer.

I'm sick of this idea that only people who are "too big to cancel" (Rowling, Chappelle) can be expected to stand up to troons. It implies that everyone worth less than 10 figures has no choice but to go along to get along. None of this shit will end until normal people en masse start laughing in these psychotics' faces.

I like Hannah Gadsby but I'm not really surprised.

Her Nanette special on Netflix started out as a genuinely funny piss take of herself growing up as a butch lesbian in Tasmania. Half way through, though, she goes "Surprise!" and reveals that some of the stories she'd related had been tweaked to be palatable, and actually you'd been laughing at a lesbian's trauma, and the self deprecicating nature of stand up comedy is bad for queer people because it's just a means of furthering self hatred, and the audience is all complicit in that punching down, and so she was quitting comedy.

Which was... interesting, intelligent and thought provoking, but I was annoyed because I signed up for le funny lesbian and I don't like being ambushed (although I suppose that was the entire point of the format). But since she adopted a super serious business stance it makes sense she'd double down on it. The only reason she's been embroiled in this is because she was referenced in that leaked internal memo as an example of how Netflix is investing in LGBT creators.
