The bigger question is: who gives a flying fuck about the boring, failure-to-launch Disney adults?
She didnt fail to launch. Her doctor said that launching might cause problems for her health so she chose not to launch thankyouverymuch.
At this point grown women having a Disney fixation is a red flag for someone who is emotionally stunted and is attempting escapism in an unhealthy way.
All of these obsessions seem to manifest in certain types of people.
I love it when they talk about “medical gaslighting and abuse”.
I get the impression they think every visit to the doctor with a new symptom should result in an entire episode of House and detective level investigation into their one minor issue.
Someone should tell her that she needs to study her history of corsets:
shes one of those cringe medievalists/victorianists who simp for and make excuses for stuff from these time periods, like lack of hygiene and corsets. no poo gang out in full force in the comments. some of these gross people havent washed their hair in 7 yrs.
Nah I’ve seen some complain about female doctors. Usually it’s framed as a betrayal of their sex. Like somehow female doctors are obligated to believe every munchie claim and have the box of tissues ready for some shoulder-crying. Which is really quite sexist of the munchies, innit? But they all seem to hold up the shrinking violet as the ideal, so I guess that makes sense.
That makes sense when you consider they get their fulfillment from medical attention. Going to a doctor appointment is a bit like meeting up with a heroin dealer. When the doctor refuses to engage with the crazy, it’s like a heroin dealer flushing all the little baggies down the toilet in front of an addicted customer.
Or write whatever prescriptions they want, because it helped several strangers in their FB group!
They assume we are nurses at first and then when they realize we are their treating physician; if they can’t bond with us over “we are women” they mostly move on to try and manipulate our male colleagues…
