The concert is simply amazing (beside SPWN shitting the bed with audio problem again). I'm so proud of this blue comet.
By the way, the end of concert hint collab with fucking Converse. Be on a look out for Comet sneakers.
Edit : The Holo main twitter account just tweet about it. An upcoming collab item is being in work.
If it wasn't for the WuFlu, everyone will definitely cheer and scream
I think its safe to say that for the international fandom, Suisei is the face of the music part of Hololive JP. Azki and Sora focuses heavily on Japan and not nearly as much on international when it comes to singing and performing.
I kind of think it that way. Sora is the idol (dancer and singer) type but leans toward JP audience, while the respective VSingers AZKi aligns/clicks with JP and Suisei has more chances with kaigai-nikis. IRyS on the other hand, is more of EN introduced to JP but accomodated to EN viewers/listeners.
Suisei herself asked to be moved from INNAKA (was that the name) and into Hololive because she also wanted to stream normally like the others

Its padoru-padoru season after this halloween

God dam just seeing the some of the stuff here and twitter, Ive really got to give her concert a watch once I'm home.

Suisei desgin/costumes have always stuck out to me for just looking so dam good that you can recognise its her from miles away. She really is the best shining comet now. I do hope she just gets bigger and bigger as she deserves it.

The live costume changes are always the best part.

Can't help but wonder why Cover doesn't just pull the trigger and make Suisei the official face of Hololive's music division. I have nothing but respect for Sora and Azki but it is not crazy to think Suisei has long surpassed them in terms of popularity at this point? She wasn't even included in Hololive Alternative and even voiced that she wanted to be. Anyway, I'm exceptional. Peace y'all.

Edit:
If anything, Suisei's popularity proved that the musician talents also need to gather fans like the others did, which I suspect is exactly what they're doing with Irys

Imagine believing that racism against white people doesn't exist while being a weeb.
In for a rude awakening if they ever go to Japan and come across the many places that refuse service to foreigners.

It's been even worse this last year due to them practically blaming foreigners for the spread of COVID. Many restaurants now have 'Japanese ONLY!' signposted on the front and a couple of friends have told me that they've had to go home early so as not to ruin the plans of their Japanese friends bc of how voluminous that was.

Makes me question whether or not I even want to live there again.

You mean a country with of such a mono-ethnic nature tends to be an asshole towards foreigner? *Gasp* Next you're gonna tell me China, Korea, and other Asian countries are racist
(Also a bit of fun fact, in Korea, the feminist/progressive female demographics also tend to be racists. Yes, I know, its weird)

Suisei has a surprisingly large fandom of kaigai-nikis. I think she has an idea of it, given her English-only karaoke & her duolingo streams, though those are all a long time ago.
I remember the hololive subreddit had some guys that collected all livechat over 3-4 months and Suisei had 3rd or 4th most English speakers, after Coco, Akirose and I forget the 3rd, if she was fourth.
Coco's meme review with Suisei also had more viewers than normal.
and if we look at Holotalk, going by release date, these are the view numbers.
1. Marine (590k views).
2. Fubuki (500k views).
3. Shion (350k views)
4. Subaru (417k views)
5. Miko (324k views)
6. Mel (220k views)
7. Aki (204k views)
8. Suisei (325k views)
9. Roboco (181k views)
10. A-chan (388k views)
11. Kiryu Coco (422k views)
12. Matsuri (274k views)
13. Tales of Arise (91k views)
14. AZKi (152k views)
15. Haachama (171k views)
16. Sora (185k views)
17. Choco (141k views).

if we look over it based on viewers instead.
1. Marine (590k views)
2. Fubuki (500k views)
3. Coco (422k views)
4. Subaru (417k views)
5. A-chan (388k views)
6. Shion (350k views)
7. Suisei (325k views)
8. Miko (324k views)
9. Matsuri (274k views)
10. Mel (220k views)
11. Azki (204k views)
12. Sora (185k views)
13. Roboco (181k views)

15. Azki (152k views)

Obviously Marine and Fubuki got a huge boost for being the first 2 guests. Though given their popularity overall I think they'd be among the top regardless. Coco was during her graduation, so a lot of people tuned in. But again, Coco had a massive English following for obvious reasons, and would no doubt get numbers. Surprised by Subaru being where she is, A-chan makes sense given she's basically able to answer very interesting questions. Shion was third, so got a boost.

Also to note, I think Kiara moved Holotalk to better fit her European schedule after Miko.
but yeah, the Holotalk numbers are a good representation of how many kaigainiki fans each Holo has in my opinion. And as we can see in the airing date order, Azki and Roboco (one before and after Suisei) were far behind Suisei in numbers. Hell, after Suisei appeared, only A-chan and Coco got more viewers.

Also Kiara, if you're ego-searching and came over my post, I love how organized you are. I can quickly access your YouTube page and get playlists for every game you've ever touched, and more abstract stuff like drawings, old membership videos you've made available to all and your collabs. As someone who primarily watches VODs this is a huge timesaver, and it made it very easy for me to find the view numbers I just put up. I know a lot of the girls try to maintain playlists, but you truly go the extra mile and then some.

The concert was great, I'd advice anyone to buy the ticket. But I know how the internet works, so if you're not buying it, at least torrent it. Getting to hear Suisei call out the "Please wear a mask, don't record the performance, please don't be a bother to those around you" in her seemingly normal voice was such a treat, and watching her perform on stage seeing her dream get realized was nothing short of euphoric for me.

she needs to take a bpd test next.
Dunno about results that Pippa would get. I’m pretty sure of what her neighbours’ score is.
If she doesn’t embellish her stories too much.

Not like I expected otherwise, that autism test only works in context of bunny rabbit. It can’t be taken seriously with those questions. 14 in whatever irrelevant points they have.

they might be the easiest to access numbers from a surface level but I don't know that I would call them a good representation.

Holotalk numbers are going to be affected by a few different things, like for one they're probably the EN stream with the biggest pull for JP viewers since the show is conducted primarily in Japanese, which is going to inflate numbers based on the guests JP fanbase. and on the EN side of things, a not insignificant number of people are just filtered by Kiara in general (not saying it's massive but it's definitely there) and just consume bits through clips if at all.

Those factors alone I would say make it fairly unreliable to make any real assumptions based on.

These are fair points that you bring up. Not to mention her changing the schedule. I don't think too many people are filtered out by Kiara, though. In places like kiwifarms and 4chan there's certainly a trend to dislike her and she is the least subscribed in HoloEN 2 but I feel a big reason she has a smaller viewerbase and subscriber base compared to her peers is that she streams very specific games that don't attract that huge of an audience. Speaking for myself, I'm a bit on the spectrum and as such I really, really hate sudden, loud sounds. Such as screams. And Kiara screams and suddenly raises her voice when agitated. Also the whole shipping thing with Calli just got obnoxious to me, really fast. But I don't hate Kiara herself and I find her entertaining in collabs. Sidenote, this is why Hana Macchia (whom is currently talking about her fetishes in a membership stream) is probably my favorite or second favorite EN vtuber (and thus second or third favorite vtuber overall, Suisei is my #1). I also feel like the love one feels towards ones Oshi far surpasses whatever distaste you might or might not have towards Kiara.
But yeah, I agree with your points in principle.

Probably Towa, nips never got over her being near a male, her audience was like 75% overseas early on
Yeah, I'm positive you're right.

Crazy, since those types tend to be racists in America too. They just say that they aren't, because that's good enough now.
