Maybe they do, maybe they don't.

For those who want it, I'll be posting Risu's new costume in this reply
I like how they manage to incorporate kanyu into the design. And overall it's quite similar theme to Iofi's?

Unrelated, but it's always find it interesting when the talents doesn't know they're on stream, yet still pretty much have the same character. Very professional, and fun to keep an illusion that they act like this off stream too.

Suisei has a surprisingly large fandom of kaigai-nikis. I think she has an idea of it, given her English-only karaoke & her duolingo streams, though those are all a long time ago.
I remember the hololive subreddit had some guys that collected all livechat over 3-4 months and Suisei had 3rd or 4th most English speakers, after Coco, Akirose and I forget the 3rd, if she was fourth.
Coco's meme review with Suisei also had more viewers than normal.
and if we look at Holotalk, going by release date, these are the view numbers.
1. Marine (590k views).
2. Fubuki (500k views).
3. Shion (350k views)
4. Subaru (417k views)
5. Miko (324k views)
6. Mel (220k views)
7. Aki (204k views)
8. Suisei (325k views)
9. Roboco (181k views)
10. A-chan (388k views)
11. Kiryu Coco (422k views)
12. Matsuri (274k views)
13. Tales of Arise (91k views)
14. AZKi (152k views)
15. Haachama (171k views)
16. Sora (185k views)
17. Choco (141k views).

if we look over it based on viewers instead.

Obviously Marine and Fubuki got a huge boost for being the first 2 guests. Though given their popularity overall I think they'd be among the top regardless. Coco was during her graduation, so a lot of people tuned in. But again, Coco had a massive English following for obvious reasons, and would no doubt get numbers. Surprised by Subaru being where she is, A-chan makes sense given she's basically able to answer very interesting questions. Shion was third, so got a boost.

Also to note, I think Kiara moved Holotalk to better fit her European schedule after Miko.
but yeah, the Holotalk numbers are a good representation of how many kaigainiki fans each Holo has in my opinion. And as we can see in the airing date order, Azki and Roboco (one before and after Suisei) were far behind Suisei in numbers. Hell, after Suisei appeared, only A-chan and Coco got more viewers.

Also Kiara, if you're ego-searching and came over my post, I love how organized you are. I can quickly access your YouTube page and get playlists for every game you've ever touched, and more abstract stuff like drawings, old membership videos you've made available to all and your collabs. As someone who primarily watches VODs this is a huge timesaver, and it made it very easy for me to find the view numbers I just put up. I know a lot of the girls try to maintain playlists, but you truly go the extra mile and then some.

The concert was great, I'd advice anyone to buy the ticket. But I know how the internet works, so if you're not buying it, at least torrent it. Getting to hear Suisei call out the "Please wear a mask, don't record the performance, please don't be a bother to those around you" in her seemingly normal voice was such a treat, and watching her perform on stage seeing her dream get realized was nothing short of euphoric for me.
If you want to check the jp/non-jp number of chats as a indicator of the fanbase size you can use the site HoloChatStats. It counts chat messages that do/don't contain japanese or russian characters among other things. So a lot of english messages.
If you go with this metric Suisei averages at maybe 30 % non-jp comments. In contrast AZki (ca. 40 %), Haachama (ca. 50 %), Choco (ca. 35 %), Towa (ca. 35-40 %) share of non-jp chats in the last months are higher. It's only a rough guess but I think a better than Kiaras Holotalk.

God damn it, this shit is why holomens don't engage in collabs with outsiders, even Cali hanging out with the trash taste gang was only a tenth this bad.
The worst part is that Tenma actually responded to them. The poor girl.
Tenma has no limiters on people who harass her or her genmates. She's the type that tolerates you until she doesn't.
If those SJWs start trying to police phase connect chat or twitter, she'll tell them to get out (I can already read that in her voice) and ban them herself. And then bitch about her moderators not doing their jobs.

Checking this website, I had some misgivings.
First theory: Azki's numbers were boosted artificially by her English streams (Duolingo & just English chatting stream in general).
I checked the website in question where it says, and I quote: "Streams designated as English streams on Japanese language channels and covers are ignored." So they've already taken that in consideration.
Second theory: Japanese comments using single English words are counted. If this was the case, Azki's 40% could be explained with people just typing Azki.
But Miko doesn't seem to enjoy a boost of this level, which she certainly would have given the "ELITE" moniker, so I can discount this.

My takeaway from this is that Azki has a higher percentage of English viewers than expected, and I'm happy for her. Suisei still enjoys a large international base as well.

Just writing my whole experience with this incase others think the same as I did.

Using % is weird tbh. A 40% of 1-2k viewers is not bigger than say 5-10% 10-20k viewers.

While I agree, my original statement was also percentage based. It's a more fair comparison, especially considering how varied the holos are in terms of content, viewer numbers and so forth. English is unique in that every prominent timezone has an abundance of English speakers, unlike say comparing Japanese viewers on HoloEN, as there's only one prominent timezone for Japanese.

I'm fairly sure in terms of sheer numbers that Fubuki, Korone or Pekora has the most English viewers. And out of those probably Pekora given how much she streams on average.

I don't think too many people are filtered out by Kiara, though. In places like kiwifarms and 4chan there's certainly a trend to dislike her and she is the least subscribed in HoloEN 2 but I feel a big reason she has a smaller viewerbase and subscriber base compared to her peers is that she streams very specific games that don't attract that huge of an audience.
I'm fine with screaming myself, but something about her voice just filters me super hard, which is a shame because her game choice is right up my alley, but any time I try and sit down to watch one of her streams I can listen to her for 5 mins top. Not sure if its the accent and the nasally voice combined or something about the pitch she talks at.

Here's an easy test. Listen to her other persona. Do you still hate her voice?

Keep in mind that Kiara is trying to channel Pekora every second of the day (including the laugh). It's probably the pitch that tweaks people.

Oh god. It's started.
Remember back when Sykkuno was trying to get a collab with Gura and I posted this?
I'm pretty sure that this has been brought up before, but the possibility of a Holo collabing with Sykkuno is horrifying.

Sykkuno, as well as the group of streamers he regularly associates with (OfflineTV, Corpse Husband, etc.) all have legions of preteen stans/whiteknights on Twitter. We're talking about the type of people that get asinine shit like this trending mainstream.

If he were to collab with Gura (or any Holo), I'm 100% sure that things in the EN VTuber community would get way worse than they already are, as an invasion of even more 14-year-old white girls would certainly not end well. At a certain point, I'd rather take the hit and see Gura collab with Artemis than watch the entirety of the EN community crumble even further into irreparable garbage.

A quick skim of the Dream thread or the dedicated thread for his community should be enough to tell anyone that having stans in your community is a horrible idea. Imagine if the Hololive girls all had stans like him or Corpse. We already deal with enough gachikois as it is; imagine if we also had to deal with literal thousands of 14 year old girls unironically trying to cancel Senzawa for saying 'ret@rd' in some of her old video descriptions, for example.

I'm very happy that Gura has ignored Sykkuno so far, and I hope she continues to do so. He would bring nothing but trouble.
It never really ended up happening (thank god), but the exceptional individuals that these 'creators' bring will start showing up throughout Phase Connect now that they've been exposed to it. And I'm not sure that this is a problem that Tenma and the moderators can solve just by banning people themselves, since there are literal millions of these types of people/stans. Even if they all somehow get banned from chat/Discord, there would still be the issue of them talking amongst eachother and plotting. Imagine if they unironically make Twitlongers/literal documents about Phase-Connect & their 'wrongdoings.' And god forbid they find out about Pippa. Tenma telling them to "get out" would literally just serve to fuel their fight against perceived 'injustice.'
:cryblood:

I reckon that it'll take around a week or so for something to go wrong involving them. Maybe a month or so at most. I don't really think it's a question of if anymore, but when.
1634828792002.png Or maybe I'm completely overthinking it and none of this will happen. I really hope so. But I also kinda doubt it.

Its not summer yet, the tween fags are too busy being in their shitty zoom classes and maybe some actually going to school to make gay ops or callout posts against a drunken vtuber fox grandma
You can sorta notice that alot of the hyper autism towards any other tween adjacent creator like dream or whatever the fuck dies down once the little shits start classes

Heres hoping PC can tard-wrangle the newfags though, maybe if they can use that collab to score with less retarded or other chuuba fanbases, thats probably a good spring-off point unless they want to go full dick with the unreliable uwu tweens
