It never really ended up happening (thank god), but the exceptional individuals that these 'creators' bring will start showing up throughout Phase Connect now that they've been exposed to it. And I'm not sure that this is a problem that Tenma and the moderators can solve just by banning people themselves, since there are literal millions of these types of people/stans. Even if they all somehow get banned from chat/Discord, there would still be the issue of them talking amongst eachother and plotting. Imagine if they unironically make Twitlongers/literal documents about Phase-Connect & their 'wrongdoings.' And god forbid they find out about Pippa. Tenma telling them to "get out" would literally fuel them to fight the 'perceived injustice.'


I reckon that it'll take around a week or so give-or-take for something to go wrong involving them. Maybe a month or so at most. I don't really think it's a question of if anymore, but when.

Not to go off on too much of a tangent, but as backwards as some of their policies are, some of their biggest ones don't come from a place of racism.

For example, the most infamous one is a landlord's right to deny foreigners an apartment on the basis of their non-Japanese birth, but due to the HUGE turnover rate of foreigners who live in Japan for a short time, the tendency of these people to skip out on the last 1-2 months of rent is surprisingly very high and a substantial risk.

The ban in some public bathhouses is a result of their tendency to contaminate the water by not following procedures, and rather than tell them what to do, they'd rather turn them away at the door and avoid confrontation.

But the COVID-motivated restaurant ban was just disgusting. The younger generations of Japanese people are not representative of the people imposing and enforcing these policies so it's unfair to describe Japan as a racist COUNTRY but rather a country with racists at the top of the chain. Doesn't make living under those policies any less uncomfortable though.
