Hypocritical that Mersh is dragging true-crime readers who are interested in the Gabby Petito case. He's been a "wresting true-crime author" and podcaster for years. He says that true-crime readers are all white fat middle-age women who sit on the computer all day. He's a white fat middle-age grifter who sits on the computer all day.
Mersh doesn't want anyone to know his writing alias is "Matthew Brown." He wrote the "Searching For Samantha Fiddler" fundraiser book in 2019. He obviously spent a lot of time researching it. Lot of photos, criminal investigation, interviews, timelines. The book plugs his show in two places.
One of the most selfless things he's ever done with his career is write the fundraiser book because it exposed the missing woman and several convicted pedophiles in the industry. Nobody was talking about either. Federal Judge Kenneth Lester's wrestler son allegedly covers for his pedophile friends and threatened anyone who even asked about Samantha Fiddler.
Better for Mersh, a male true-crime writer with a gun, to get threatened by Lester than the female true-crime types since there's already at least one missing woman and Lester has a domestic battery record. Lester went on Mersh's show. If only Lester knew Mersh is the one who wrote about him in the book.
A month after Mersh released his fundraiser book and the wrestling community was talking about it, he started the Teddy Hart and Chasyn Rance podcasts. It helped call out some people who were working with pedos, and brought some answers to the Fiddler family. Mersh's book led to his income and subs going up.
Mersh didn't want to burn bridges with his wrestling friends named in the book including Carlos Manuel Lebron and Alex Pourteau. Mersh still wants to produce Jobber one day so he needs them. He's two-faced.
Good thing Pourteau and Lebron don't know Matthew Brown is Mersh. Neither liked being exposed in the book as self-absorbed delusional pedo-enabling druggies who've never returned Samantha Fiddler's family's calls for five years. Pourteau gave Mersh's fundraiser book one star on Amazon because it made him look terrible.
When Mersh is speaking about pedophiles in wrestling on his show, he's quoting verbatim from the book but he never mentions the book or gives credit to himself - "Matthew Brown." He also has alt accounts on Twitter that are about pedophiles in pro wrestling and about Samantha Fiddler. One of those names is @MiaSafari. You'll see him on Nightwave quoting verbatim from the wrestling ped0phile crime reports and crime statistics Tweeted on those accounts weeks before but never linking or thanking those accounts. Mersh whines about his work being plagiarized by other people without credit, so if Matthew Brown or @MiaSafari weren't him, he'd give them credit for using so much of their research.
He probably hate it if someone called him out in the live chat as Matthew Brown or @MiaSafari.
